About thirty years ago one of my uncles died. He wasn't well educated and was a brass moulder for most of his life. He was also a Desert Rat in WW2. He never used to talk about it much but when he was dying he said that any species (or words to that effect) that could cause so much misery shouldn't have been born. Apart from the fact that we can't get on with other humans we seem intent on wiping out all other animals and plants. Nobody seems to care or when they pretend to they just make up bollocks.
