Payroll
Extinction Rebellion's site lists every single expense, from a £7,350 payment for coloured boats that were sent all over the country to a £1,313 insurance premium for a fire engine that was used in a bungled attempt to spray fake blood on the treasury.
But, perhaps surprisingly for an activist organisation, the group's biggest outgoing is its payroll.
Activists can claim so-called "volunteer living expenses" of up to £400 a week, which set the group back £130,000 for the months of June, July and August alone.

"volunteer living expenses" of up to £400 a week  Rent a mob  , Not bad money For a bit of Super Glue on the Hand  , All legal Expenses Covered

Terry McCann got this one right! I've always believed campaigns like these are sponsored by people to gain influence but I never thought it would be so openly admitted.

Personally think that ER are OTT & doing more harm than good...

However £400 a week for staying in London is hardly living in the lap of luxury.
Basically would need 2 people to share a room in Premier Inn/ Ibis etc. & pay for food / travel.

If my work wanted me to be in a different city for a week , then my expenses would be a lot more than £400.

When they glue themselves to trains, doors, roads, etc, rather than trying to remove the glue, add another layer of JB Weld. That will give them something to think about when it's time to unglue themselves and go for a lunchtime burger.

This reminds me of the old saying about religion.

''There's no praying without paying.''

And these extinction goons are simply doing what any good charity would do. Which is to stir it up in order to stimulate cash flow.

I'd be very surprised if someone isn't feathering their nests out of it.
