Who still sends postcards when their away on holiday

Yep. In the 1950's I remember  mum and dad buying fistfuls of postcards to  send to relatives when on holiday in Fleetwood. Always scenic ones, never the rude ones !

There was also a small shop where you could buy kippers and have them boxed up and posted.

Do Wah you could be in for a big payday if you still have those postcards,there is a big demand by collectors for old postcards,who knows maybe you have being storing 100 grand worth of postcards for the last 70 years.

pin stripe suits,new car,fat wallet,and loads of friends on the way to Do Wah,and top shelf drinks, and a eight digit bank balance,but only if you still have the postcards.

Unfortunately, Diddy Wah's parents sent the scenic postcards ... it's only the rude ones that have any value nowadays.

No I have none .we only sent the rude ones .
And I've no kippers left

I had a little red yaught and a rod with a hook on .those were happy days I was quite content pushing my yaught and watching the wind blowing the sails on it in the in the boating lake then running round to the other side of the lake .and pulling the yaught into harbour with my pole and hook

I was so content not worrying about betting .

Another time they bought me a plastic fire engine with a rubber ball on its tender to pump your water through its plastic hosepipe and a moveable adjustable ladder .life was fun the girls in the guest house used to make us some soup and we played cards with them while mam and dad and the guest house owners went to the pub

I was happy with my red firecengine and yellow water pump
and my red yaught and it's sails with numbers on one of the sails

There was more to my life than gambling in them days

No I want it to get warmer .have you seen them penguins in the cold they all have to huddle together to keep warm and you can see lots of penguins pulling their faces because some of them smell of fish

If it got warmer they could stand on their own .and have as much room as they wanted .

I used to p-p-p-pick up a penguin when I was a kid.
