for extremely overly privileged people since birth, Harry and William seem like fairly nice and down to earth people to me, there are many people who are born with a silver spoon who carry a sense of entitlement and arrogance but I've never seen or heard that from them, what has changed with Harry is that since meeting Meghhan he has gone a bit into overdrive with wanting to save the world and all that, and that to some people has come across a bit preachy which nobody likes, but in general he seems like a good guy. Can't imagine for a second what it must have been like to not only lose your mum aged 12 but to have the whole world looking at you at the same time, walking behind the coffin with worlds cameras pointing at him and probably being told beforehand not to cry or show emotion.

wasn't replying to the thread title, but the posts here that said they didn't like them, she's right about British tabloids though but that's nothing new, I think there are much more worthy people of disliking, they are trying to promote good causes after all, don't understand how Gary Barlow and Jimmy Carr for example can go of their way to avoid tax yet are still very popular, with filled out venues for their concerts/gigs, yet Royals promoting good causes are the bad guys

I am interested to know if any of their advisers have resigned or are they just going to take the money. I doubt the Queen will stand for this. Someone is trying to play the media and someone is going to lose. Somebody needs to tell them we don't like whingers. They better try a different route.

This must the only "fragile place" on the planet where the taxpayer stumps up millions on your behalf for a renovated home, you get private/luxury travel thrown in, everything is done for you by a retinue of servants, and you are given vast amounts of cash for walkaround money.

I agree with Darren here - alot of people think that because they get paid from the public purse they should put up with anything and everything that's thrown at them - let's not forget she is wealthy independent of the royal family money, they seem to have a social conscience but the tabloids (and that odious **** Morgan) seem to be merrily doing a fine hatchet job on them (her in particular). I can't see anything either of them have done wrong really, I guess people just like taking cheap shots at them
