So true, mine isn't any more. Oddly enough I've played a bit of opera today and the tears arrived while thinking of her.

my mum died roughly this time last year whilst i was still drugged up in hospital recovering from my op - not that we were close but it does get you to thinking in a different way.
Are you ok saddo cos ive messaged you privately and on a thread on hrf but no response

I would give anything to speak to my Mum again, she is still with me though as I have got her ashes in my front room. One day, when I'm ready, I'll take her remains to her home in Dublin to lay next to her Mum. We all deal with grief in our own way and I will take Mum to Ireland but not just yet.

Both my parents died almost 15 years ago. It does mark a transition in your life, changes your perception of the world.
