aye Josephine for me as well; a very frisky mademoiselle. I do wish her ex hadn't have been killed off though

anyways i'm recording the series

I generally watch the first episode 'live' and record the second.
There is already one character in this series that clearly needs to suffer a long and painful end. The only problem with him dying is that it still allows the chance of reincarnation, to quote Sledge Hammer. |

ah Sledge; he was fun late at night with a bellyful of ale

Great to see it back , I thought the last series was the end.
I shall save all 12 episodes for a binge.....this outdated waiting a week for new episodes I am no longer willing to do. |

The sooner that Maitresse Josephine is Queen Bee of that Parisian Clitclink the better.
It was encouraging to see her use some of her fiendish methods of persuasion to get a change of cell. Alas she had reckoned without that rather attractive (in a pleasingly skanky way) new cell mate of hers intervening. Still, we can only hope now that a beautiful entente develops between the two of them, and that the lower bunk will be the location of much hardcore Gallic Sapphic activity next Saturday. Fingers crossed both characters have seen 'Blue Is The Warmest Colour" and enjoyed it. |

I wholeheartedly agree Alun. It’s just a shame the two muck tubs from the aforementioned film weren’t banged up doing a stretch in the next cell

Ahh, Cosmo I'm glad to see we are on the same page on this critical issue du jour.
I suspect we have our differences of some other momentous matters of state, but we can at least pleasingly and maturely find common ground where the European High Art of 'Spiral' is concerned. Et les femmes fatales. I'd like to think that your old darting nemesis "THE LION" is also faithfully tuning in. And wouldn't it be marvellous if MRS LION was sat beside him on the sofa, sharing a fine Bordeaux. |

Ahh, what can I say my friend? It was an unequal struggle with an inevitable outcome. .
No-one should have been a sacrificial lamb to The Lion Rampant, in the most imperious, merciless and unforgiving form. Quite honestly, ANYONE would have been stomped. "Res Ipsa Loquitur" as my old school chum Hunter S Thompson might have said. |

Wise words Alun and ones that I can’t unfortunately argue with. It was a pleasure to share an oche with the man in the salubrious settings of the Ideal Standard Club.
Any film recommendations lately? |

"Julieta" a BBC4 World Cinema job a few weeks ago. A film in Spanish by Pedro Almodovar and his best in years. Very much worth a look if it's still on iPlayer.

Just checked and it is still on iPlayer so I’ll check it, thanks for the heads up.
Unusual for his muse the ravishing Penelope Cruz not to appear. |

Nothing to do with what your talking about ,but thanks for “Song and Dance” strange but true

Cosmo (and anyone else who likes 'Spiral').
You may be interested to know that the 'All4' website has a number of international (i.e. foreign-language) dramas available as 'box sets', to anyone who registers at the site (all completely free). One of the dramas is "DEAD BEAUTIFUL" starring Thierry Godard ('Gilou' in 'SPIRAL') this time starring as a Parisian cop of more senior rank. Episodes are around 90 minutes and pretty good too. The original French series is 'LES DAMES'. A bientôt mon ami. |
