Americans in the Middle East. People moan.
Americans leave the Middle East. People moan. |
|
By:
Where is the moan? an observation surely. That trite cliched reply is exactly why I don't bother much on here anymore. The whole world is alarmed at the US (Uturn) change of policy for no acceptable reason. but not you apparently.

America have had enough of trying to police the world
Trump is right to bring the troops home Let someone else take on the burden they’re good at criticising from the sidelines , a bit like the op |
|
By:
His reason just proves how bats**t crazy this system is
"they didn't help us in WW2" ![]() ![]() The world is mental, if its not giving this idiot their attention, they are giving it Colleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy ![]() ![]() |

By:
Had the US not been planning a withdrawal for quite some time and are we aware of how many troops were actually still there?
|
|
By:
If Britain or the EU wants to send troops , go ahead
|
|
By:
"POLICE THE WORLD"
They spend trillions of taxpayers money but invading countries which they destroy, kill millions of civilians all for the benefit of someone else. |
|
By:
terry it’s Turkey that has invaded , have a word with them
h |
|
By:
Trump withdrawing troops allowed this to happen IFC
|
|
By:
Ah, I thought you said America was only there for its own benefit
Make your mind up |
|
By:
America isn't asking for anyone's trust. It has the help of the public both at home and in Britain to basically risk their lives in any war the politicians make up. That's all they need
|
|
By:
^ see the thanks the Americans get ?
Well done president Trump , bring the troops home |
|
By:
Apparently there was only a very small American presence there, but while the few Americans did stay, the Turkeys were reluctant to risk spilling American blood so they held back.
Then of course as soon as America pulled out, the way was clear for Turkey to go in. This was Trump completing another of his election pledges. |
|
By:
Just leave them alone to sort it out.
Western meddling in their affairs will never bring peace. |
|
By:
It's interesting how people and the media are blaming America (and in particular, President Trump) instead of laying into Turkey who are, you know, the ones doing the actual waging-of-war thing.

They are,they want unrest IFC

|
By:
nonsense terry , if you want Britain or the European countries to send troops in
then I suggest you ask them Send a letter to Merkel |
|
By:
Maybe ask Ireland to send an army ,
they sat with their arms crossed and watched and refused to help in WW2 also remember that as well |
|
By:
But oh look
3.6m migrants flooding Europe Thanks Trump, another facking one to the list then |
|
By:
If the Europeans want to stop that its up to them , they can use their own troops
America is bringing its troops home , good Stop whining at America, it’s easy to criticise from the sidelines |

By:
It’s like this , if you are going to return voluntarily to a country to face trial
Then you will have to feel secure that you will receive a fair trial and fair treatment And that you will be safe ( I wouldn’t go back to any number of countries all over the world eg ) It’s obvious from the comments here and elsewhere , which the American woman will have read that must be in doubt |
|
By:
Would I trust someone like detraveller , or dustybin or little dave to come to a fair conclusion
or many tens of thousands others in Britain ( perhaps millions )? No , I would not , sorry |
|
By:
I'm glad to hear it, because you are clearly a glove puppet.

By:
^ see what I mean ?

And I am glad we think the same way.

By:
Too much hatred , from certain people in Britain towards America
clouds and distorts judgement It’s enough certainly to make the diplomats wife think twice about returning |
|
By:
diplomats wife wont think twice about returning even though she faces no charge because
of her immunity op is 100% correct here, imo its just not right to let down these people who were our feet on the ground in the fight against terror. they deserve our support. turkey off holiday list, not usa, thats still on, but they really should have done better. |
|
By:
@lfc I am assuming you are also in favor of the rape gang cases accused not to be tried in the UK? Clearly there is enough hatred against them among the British people. Can we trust British courts to give them a fair trial? Your logic says we can't.
|
|
By:
No , America is tired of having to carry the burden and the cost of policing these countries
They have tried to do so , unfortunately times up |
|
By:
Detraveller i don’t care what they think
If they are in Britain they will have to stand trial , simple |
|
By:
So they just have to leave the country and then britain has no justification to try them, right?
|
|
By:
Ah no ,detraveller
You see if you are incapable of thinking logically , as just there That’s another reason not to return or trust in a fair trial |
|
By:
I see.
Every day I think you have reached the peak of your mental capabilities but then you come up with another gem and I have to put it at the top. This one today goes right at the top and will take some beating. Thanks for the entertainment anyways |
|
By:
A combination of illogical thought , combined with a hatred or indeed bias against America
Would of course worry the diplomats wife , |

By:
It’s not a pretty or ideal combination
