I HOPE YOU ALL REALISE WHAT DAY IT IS TODAY

I used to love uncle Mac on childrens favourites on the radio when I was a child .I dreamt that someone might write in an request a record for me to be played but no one ever did

Sparky and his echo .the teddy bears picnic .Gilly Gilly Osen pepper casaneela often by the sea .the king's invisible coat ,the runaway train .Three wheels on my wagon

In fact anything would have done

Did your mam or dad or anyone write in and request a record for you to be played

If they did I bet you feel as though you was a very loved child

Especially in them days as not many could afford a pen and envelope and stamp and a sheet of paper

I remember Nellie the elephant sung by Mandy Miller.

All the kids would join when it got to the part

''The yead of the yerd was calling far far away.''

I don't think parents realised in them days that children listened to the children's favourites on a sat morning hopeing that uncle Mac would play a record for them
Some even listened on a Sunday morning for one ,they got their days mixed up

Crippen I ve heard that song a million times i never knew the singer was Mandy miller .I've never heard of her before was she  just a one hit recording star

Just fancy walking into a pub and Nellie the elephant is playing on the jukebox and no one recognises that your the one who sang Nellie the elephant

I bet if I went into a pub and said it was me that sung Nellie the elephant people would call me a fibber (I don't like the word liar it's a horrible word)

I can see them now,stood at the bar shouting your a fibber your a fibber

Especially them in the vault

Some children wouldn't own up to wanting a record played for them  on childrens favourites incase their school friends  called them a mardy  baby

Life can be so cruel .one lad came to school with no socks on .and everyone made fun of him .no one saw him again .He didn't commit suicide he joined a travelling fair I heard and collected the money on the waltzer

Some one in my class seen what appeared to be a body in the canal and spread the rumour that it was him .
But when the police investigated it ,they discovered it was an old guy faulkes that someone had dumped

I believe it's body was badly  decomposed

Mandy Miller grew up to be a film star DwD.
Saw her the other day on Talking Pictures in The Snorkel.

She's still alive,  probably posts on here.

It's no wonder the baby boomers are such decent people after being brought up on stuff like this.

We didn't grow up to knife each other and call everybody names on social media.
We made the world a better place and now look what they're doing to it.

I never threw empty milk bottles in the street or wrote on my desk top  or told dirty jokes to girls .or had sex with a female teacher when I was under age .i would of if i could of though but she'd would have had to taught me what to do

I will look for that Mandy miller later on this week

its charlie hurleys birthday

I do not think today is a good day for the Teddy Bear's Picnic Do wah

It is miserable where I am

I would have thought they would have had it in high summer myself

Then perhaps in the past we used to have sunny Octobers, when Teddy Bears evolved.

Like I've said before your very polite ,alot of people on here don't even know what good morning means
You remind me of one of them people you meet walking their dog by the Riverside and they say good morning to you .you know the type who walk nice dogs not them pit bull terriers
I know you can't say good morning to everyone in a busy city center as you would be there all morning .and some would say hey what did you say mate .lots of people wouldn't understand your proper use of the dictionary.and lots of foreigners wouldn't have a clue what your on about, but you also don't have to push them aside and pretend they don't exist
Lots on here would learn alot from you .your like one of them people out of the film Genevieve and Mary Poppins
I've noticed on here that you never tell anyone to f*** off,same as they don't inmary Poppins and Genevieve
I would guarantee that if people had your attitude and education Britain would be a much nicer place to live in
You even got married and bought your wife a wedding ring and i bet it was real gold and not a cheap gold plated one . and  you didn't decide to live over the brush .yes Mary Poppins was based on people like you

Your the type of person that any girl would be proud of,to bring home to show their mother
especially if your white which I'm sure you are
I've not got anything against people of different colour .but you know how the neighbours talk

You should know Do wah you have to accept your children's choice....even if you think cannot think

of anybody more unsuitable.

I know you did that yourself because you are caring person and thus a caring father.

Unfortunately bad things happened which intervened in all this...which left you separated form them.

You have been honest to admit own faults gambling and alcohol..

But I am so sorry ...you deserved more...I am sorry

I don't why I advise you Do Wah, I made even worse mistakes than you.

As result I have to live my old age with my cat...I would have preferred to share it with someone.

I think we share that regret....tbh I was never as nice as you either, oh well
