Marr is an utter disgrace when he's interviewing someone of the opposite political code to himself.

Never lets them even half answer a question before firing in another.
Stops them from explaining anything.
Talks over them all of the time.
Which is in stark contrast to any interview he conducts with a Labour MP.

Marr is a typical BBC socialist.

It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife.

The interviewer should not let his own political leanings influence the way he conducts his interviews.
But with Marr the contrast between his style of interviewing Tories as opposed to socialists is stark.

It's high time the BBC reeled in this blatantly biased presenter.

Was very helpful that the Prime Minister was able to tell the nation that "I think I’ve been a model of restraint".

Believe Marr was known as Red Andy at Uni. Does it show? Grin

But getting back to the thrust of this thread, I must say that I wholeheartedly agree with Dr Crippen.

Really, what did Andrew Marr think he was doing?

His role is to ask simple, straightforward, and direct questions to allow the Prime Minister to clarify the content of these questions for the benefit of the watching general public.

It is most definitely NOT his role to interrupt the Prime Minister when, having decided that the question does not deserve to be answered, he wisely chooses to use the opportunity of air time to express his views on a series of matters that are unrelated to the original question.

After all, he is the Prime Minister, he has prerogative powers and should NEVER be challenged when he chooses to use them.

Being the most reasonable of individuals, the Prime Minister has decided, for the time being, not to punish any members of the highest court in the land.
They are simple people and cannot be expected to understand the full remit of prerogative powers at the disposal of the Prime Minister.

But, they will learn, the Prime Minister will ensure that they are made to understand the error of their ways to ensure that it can never happen again.

As for Andrew Marr, he is a serial offender and the Prime Minister may, reluctantly, have no alternative but to ensure that he is permanently silenced.

Goosey, sarcasm is not your strong point. A very poor effort.

Marr is to the left of Goosey which is no mean feat. A raving commie and will therefore be allowed to continue for as long as he wants.
