If he's been on the right kind of gear things mightn't be as bad as what people think, boxing at advanced ages aint what it used to be and Nigel was heavily rumoured to be a user back in the day.

PED use in Australia is even more rife than here especially amongst average gym goers so Nige will be surrounded by it,add in a few holidays in Thailand to get a few cycles under your belt and whoosh.

His opponent is 40, no youngster

But 55 seems a little old.

I think peoples concern is understandable

He has no need to prove anything, he was a
very good boxer at his best

Remember George Foreman at 46 far heavier than when he was at his supposed 'prime' winning the World Championship with stamina that he never had as a young fighter in the peak of hormonal health when he had stamina issues.
Everyone thinks it was natural I'd have everything I'd ever earned on George being on PED's,the 90s was the big explosion in boxing especially the heavyweights.

Rumours are he will be known as The 'Black Obliterator' once his comeback's confirmed.

Lots of rumours but how close is anyone's guess because the only certainty about that Essex crew is that Tate and Tucker were absolute fantasist wannabes so how close could be greatly exaggerated though was definitely connected.
I'm speaking as an outsider who's only references are from gangland documentaries so obviously anyone with personal info knows more than me.

The 90s was a great period for British boxing with Benn and Eubank slugging their way through the decade. Neither was a match for Stephen Collins of course.

Another that seems forgotten by some is John Conteh.
