i'm beginning to believe that it will never happen. Making up laws is a slippery slope & as they have used it to their advantage more than once already; i await the new law changes with much baited breath
People in Britain have a lot to learn when it comes to how governments work. Sad to see so many that still think they work for the public, which they don't. I still remember a day before the referendum, Obama advised people to vote Remain. That was a clear sign to me, but people haven't yet gone past the 'Obama isn't our president' part. He may not be your president but he represents a system that would never like a UK independent of the EU, because it then results in lesser american control over EU. Just go two days back when Boris promised to offer british troops for a new american mission in the middle east, despite even america having no proof Iran was involved in the saudi attacks. That is the system Obama represented and hence his comments were a clear sign Brexit was never gonna happen. if the govt is sending British citizens to war on american orders, how likely do you guys think it is that they will let Brexit happen when its clearly not in american interest?
Nevermind all that complicated politics because obviously UK is an indepedant nation and how dare I suggest they can't make their own decisions. But just take a look at your own politicains ffs. Cameron resigned immediately after the referendum(maybe for reasons other than Brexit i don't know). Then you had Theresa May who milked you all, even introducing a 'meaningful' vote in the constitution. Then had it twice! And still it wasn't meaningful enough. Then of course she conveniently resigned because it was getting too obvious and guess who takes her place? Another guy who's clearly never going to let Brexit happen. Neither May nor Boris had a reputation to protect, so they are the perfect candidates to milk the public till who knows which year...
Some serious issues there with the public's understanding of what politicians do. You guys really need to get over Brexit.

All that tripe from detraveller when he could have got it all into one line such as - you can't beat the system.
But you can if there are enough of you and you stick together and keep chipping away.
How does he think we got the referendum in the first place?
