Political orientation is a circle not a continuum ....and as for a rise in hate crimes, this was to be entirely expected, since the definition of a hate crime is not what the perpetrator thought at the time of the offence (which is ludicrous enough) but what someone else believes they thought. Throw in sectionalist interest groups such as MAMA (measuring Anti Muslim Attacks) whose very existence is predicated on encouraging people to report these gormlessly-defined crimes and there's little wonder their numbers have gone through the roof. |

Yes - George Orwell's 1984 Thanks to Labour's Criminal Justice Act 2003, a “hate crime” is defined as: “Any incident . . . which is perceived by the victim or any other person as being motivated by prejudice or hate.” A law that law meant that for the first time in English jurisprudence it didn’t matter whether a crime had been committed before an arrest could take place so long as someone could claim to have been “offended” or the victim of a “hate crime”. |

Juice has it spot on. Far left and far right (true far right, not the propaganda version) only benefit the elite at the expense of 99.999% of the population who can ill afford it.
Of course, if we had a fair society then the elite and big business would 'suffer'. They are using their money and power (aka our money) to grab ever more off everyone. All these 'hate crime' laws are their to divide us, man from woman, black from white, gay from straight, young from old, etc. United we stand, divided we fall. |

It is much worse on the reporting front. Teachers even told prevent and police about a lad reading a UKIP site. Quite right too. And plod visited. You couldn't make it up.
