The only reason he is spouting off is that somehow, after him, we have had even worse Prime Ministers. Can someone remind him that he was next to fekking useless himself.

John was the man who invented the slogan=THE FEEL GOOD FACTOR,So i guess everyone thinks of John when you hear someone say THE FEEL GOOD FACTOR,
In fact the saying is so powerful that everyone reading the words THE FEEL GOOD FACTOR ,feels good immediately.

Nothing wrong with that. We've all had a curry on our desk at work. Even when others complain abou the smell.

Major was a failure; whether you put that down to in-fighting between Tories over Europe & Maastricht, sleaze or crime issues, Black Wednesday; there is no doubt he was weak. This of course was mainly due to the fact that he followed "The Iron Lady" & couldn't replace her venomous streak. When he did try to be assertive he was laughed at; in & out of the bubble. He had his moments some will say like laying some foundations for The Good Friday Agreement; but you can easily counteract that with his pathetic regard to the former Yugoslavia & Rwanda. I remember him as forgettable with no stately manner or fortitude. He does however have one claim to fame from yours truly; namely that my interest in politics increased greatly once i realised even a grey numpty can make PM
Then of course we got Flair, & the descent has continued ever more since; which will eventually lead to the break up of Parliamentary affairs as we know it & maybe even another Rump ParliamentWink

Without a doubt his greatest contribution was " The Cones Hotline " which was radical and changed the way our roads infrastructure developed.
