I used to watch How Not To Live Your Life and there was an episode where two dressed as Riggs and Murtaugh from Lethal Weapon but the white guy blacked up and the black guy whited up and it was funny.
Come Fly With Me was also funny with Walliams and Lucas playing multi racial characters but there was only 1 series so I suspect the PC woke do gooders ruined that for everyone.

If he had just come back from holiday with a decent sun tan and donned the costume you can be sure someone would be offended.

To be frank I was unable to see the implication of his youthful "pranks" at the outset. Maybe I'm not that way inclined or do not see skin "colour" as an issue personally. I'm more of an "inner beauty" person. Or maybe I'm naive, but I can assure anyone I do not condone racism - racism is vile and has no place in society.
