Speaking on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Sinéad said: ‘As soon as I read chapter 2 of the Quran, I was like, oh my god I’ve been a Muslim my whole life and didn’t even know it. ‘In Islam, you don’t call it conversion. You call it reversion. The idea is you were born Muslim in the first place, any person with any logic would see they were Muslim all along. So that’s actually what happened to me.’ Speaking about the reaction from other Muslims to her converting to the faith, she said the reaction has been positive. ‘[I’ve had a] very nice reaction. Muslims are lovely people, Muslims are very tender and very loving people, despite what anyone may think. You’re a sister.

An unfortunate victim of mind control. Has always had a history of mental health illness, hence, when the wiring goes faulty, shave your head. Latter day, see Brittany spears. Future day, see lady gaga.

Sinead is a lost soul and people should leave her alone. Personally I think it is reprehensible that TV shows would haul her on like that in search of ratings. She`s turned up on TV in Ireland too when it was perfectly clear that she was mentally in a really bad place. It`s not the first time that she`s found a religon.

Unbelievable.

For someone who seems lost, she seems to find plenty, including new faith.

She`s done all this before. About 15 or 20 years ago she turned up on prime time TV in Ireland declaring herself to be a priest in the full garb and seemingly full of the joys of life. It made for uncomfortable viewing. A month or two later and it was all discarded once reality returned. When she`s going through these phases, she should be left alone by media muppets who have nothing in their heads only sensationalism and ratings. I just hope she comes out the other side ok or alternatively that she genuinely has found some long lasting meaning in her life. But I wouldn`t bet on that.
