A member of our beloved gards turned up here tonight
i was informsd the guy who nicked one of my horses
Brings drugs into the town
They know when he does it and who he sells them to
they keep a lid on it
are you sure you still want to prosecute him ?

Am i right to report corruption .....

I wouldn't be surprised if the many drug dealers have unwritten agreements with the police.

Better to have people you know dealing within certain rules than having them replaced by an unknown who might
start selling to kids.

Unless they are paid by the dealer it's common sense and not corruption.

That doesn't sound like something a policeman would say. Plus he didn't give you this in writing did he? So what are you going to do when they come to pick you up for false allegations?

No , caught us on the hop, otherwise would have set a recorder, neighbours know us and wonder why the thief is getting away with it. Turns out he has turned over two more like it. In front of me and the wife, he stated the above, think you are right jml they know.him, and anyone new in the town might sell to kids.

Reporting corruption will bring worse from the gards. Prosecuting thief may bring worse from druggies.
Maybe time to move !

When the police stand by whilst laws are being broken, they cease to be the police.
