its seems that all food industries are going to have to label all packet food listing the contents ,and what was uses in the manufacturing or cooking of the contents so as to avoid an allergy sufferer from getting ill or possible death after eating the contents.
now this law is about to cost the food industry billions of money world wide.
MY QUESTION.would it not be better and cheaper to invent a food detector.and give every allergy sufferer their own personal detector.
something the size of a key ring that they could point at their food they are about to eat and find out if it is safe for their particular allergy.
i am sure modern science would not find this task to difficult,and an allergy tester could be placed in all places that sell food.
and then the responsibility would be on the sufferer rather than the manufacturer.

Surely the onus should be on the sufferer to avoid processed food, especially fast food?
Why should we have to pay for their laziness. If I had a severe allergy, I wouldn't go anywhere near food that had been prepared by someone else. |

no, but i look both ways before i cross a road,it helps to keep me alive,and if i have bad eyesight i will cross the road with extra care.

i use to have an allergy to 30 pints of stout per day,but to be honest i can not blame Arthur for it,perhaps their should be signs in pubs saying we recommend that you should not drink more than 28 pints of stout in one sitting.
