When they first started televising women's cricket, the books and the exchange made so many ricks it was almost unbelievable. Side markets odds were insane in a lot of cases. It's obviously a lot more accurate now, but the sad act MAWG's and middle englanders prioritise negativity and hatred over seeking value.

While the sad fascists (too many to name) who hate women more than they hate themselves are moaning about the standard, as if they're forced to watch it, they missed a ****tonne of +EV wagering opportunities.

A few years ago the Matildas (Australian Women's Soccer Team) played against an U/15 Central Coast Rep Team in a practice match. U/15 Central Coast Rep Team is about a million miles away from professional football. Anyway they still managed to beat the Matildas 7-1.

Totally agree with the point made in jucel69's earlier post about the Fury fight and the female commentator. I do not like to listen to the "quota" of them commentating at sporting events as I have an aversion to the pitch of their voice when there is a dramatic event occurring.

They should be paid on a revenue generated basis like every other sport,the winners of local darts competitions don't get paid the same as PDC players for e.g this equality in sports is more nonsense give everyone the same opportunities to play yes but be paid what it's worth full stop.

Gymnastics for example Simone Biles would earn far more in sponsorships than any male gymnast as she's more marketable as is that sport for women.

In track and field I've yet to hear an outcry that decathletes perform in 10 disciplines as opposed to the heptathletes' 7. Men just get on with it.

Women play from closer tees in club, never mind pro golf. Shorter boundaries and smaller ball in cricket.

I think the tennis thing is wrong but not absolutely sure of myself.

Basketball in the US is a good example where the male players are millionaires and the female players are paid very little accordingly,there's a repeated joke on US sitcoms when it comes to female basketball players 'They play in front of literally tens of people' which sums it up.

Have they for a second thought that they are basically piggy-backing on existing men's teams, grounds, infrastructure, coaching etc. Everything that took generations to build up.  All for free.

They get to use all the mens training facilities, grounds, even have former legends of the mens game (who get forced to say) say how great womens sport is, even though its absolutely facking awful quality , and should anyone bring this up they are immediately attacked as "sexist pigs", you ain't allowed to question them

many years ago my localhockey team ladies won the counties championship, they decided to play us mens soccer team in a friendly for charity, us men had never played hockey , but ok we,ll give them a game. i honestly had never even held a  stick, anyway we won 2-0 with me scoring both.

Who's been claiming women are as good as men at whatever sport? If anyone has apologies for missing it thought this was all about equal pay etc. for playing the same sports,due to biology we know women (barring trans types) can't be as good at physical sports but surely this issue is payment for entertainment as sport is an entertainment industry in which spectators view for enjoyment.

W/Footie mainly promoted by the BBC who no longer have the rights to the men's game so they will be the first to say how exciting it is etc .

There seems to be a lot of non-arguments here. I don't know anyone who considers women to be as good as men in most sports so why all the comparisons? Women, with a very few exceptions, don't get paid as much as men by a long way. Women wouldn't have their own facilities as they haven't been playing most of the sports mentioned for very long. Women's sport gets very little coverage on tv even by the BBC.
