I recently lost my job and am sitting around the house bored stiff. Only thing I can think of doing to keep my mind occupied and have some social interaction is to join a gym. I’ve never been a gym member before so I’m thinking of joining David Lloyd as its a well known gym so should be popular and ok.
Any chitchatters have any advice on joining a gym? What’s the procedure? How do you join? Is it boring? Just looking for some advise on where to start please.
Cheers.

Just do it, it's a good move.

Stop dithering, and fear not.

Id just do a day visit first to 2/3 local Gyms and get a feel for it..

Then choose  the one that suits, it does not need to have bells and whistles.

It works for me as it becomes a healthy habit and routine it should do rightly for you also.
