I think there was a recent study on countries that would suffer more than negligible welfare damage from a no-deal. It was like 4-5 countries. It was obviously the UK with its newly found self-destruct mechanism, Republic of Ireland and Malta I'm pretty sure, and I think Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Germany certainly wasn't among them. That's why it's mostly a non-topic in German politics apart from when they shake their heads at some good British hubris from time to time.
