Well overdue. Arise Sir Geoffrey!!

By:
The bird on R4 must have been seething when he called her 'love'
![]() |
By:
i'm surprised the MSM keep repeating the word "toss"
By:
Just another privileged celebrity getting the treatment as far as I'm concerned.
This kind of scrutiny goes with the perks of the position. If they don't like it they could always they working for a living in a proper job. |
By:
The thing that made him a great batsman was the same thing he is being vilified for now, his character, flaws and all.

When I had stalls on the market ,someone wrote to the Manchester evening news telling them that the lady on the material stall was always helpful and had a smile on her face and wanted to express her apprecaation of her
I got very jealous and annoyed .I was the only one on the market who charged say 9.99 for a garment and give them their penny change .and I never got a mention I always give people a carrier bag for free when their green groceries had burst their cheap plastic bag and I didn't even sell green groceries .I should of said go and get one from where you bought them. |

If Boycott doesn't like the questions being asked, then why did he go on the Today programme this morning?
What did he think they were going to ask him after others had rakd up his past yesterday? |

Hr was a great batsman. Never a fast scorer, but very good against the quickies
always hard to dislodge. What is wrong with calling women love?????????????? |
By:
Once an arrogant git, always an arrogant git.
By:
He did not make a good captain...you may have a point Knight Commander.
When he was at his prime he did stand up well to those West Indian quickies I remember. |
By:
Arrogant. Dull. A completely stupefylingly dreary voice. An utter dinosaur. I hate him.
By:
* stupefyingly
By:
after he retired he run out the other batsman in a charity game because he was taking his limelight...….arrogant git
By:
He was playing with a batsman , can’t recall who , against a particularly tricky bowler, who went up to him during the match and said Geoffrey I’ve worked out how to play this guy
Boycott said yes I know , I knew that a couple of hours ago Think boycott was working class , they’re like that |
By:
He did know
By:
feminist crap
By:
Time a few more figures took his approach, some of the interviewers seem to hate the people they are interviewing at times. A great batsman in his day, idolised by indian cricket fans.

I think Geoffrey is great and a brilliant pundit
By:
Oh I do not believe for a minute he battered that woman
By:

Oh I do not believe for a minute he battered that woman He batted her not battered her, just breakin bat'n like eah by gum.. |
By:
was she La Francais ?
By:
As we say in Scotland he gave her a right fackin dooin...And after seeing the pics he certainly did.
By:
She may have done it to herself to fit him up.
By:
No one knows.
By:
Maybe she should take a polygraph.
By:
...or maybe he did it.
By:
She slipped on granite tiles.
She admitted to a friend that he did not hit her Many of his ex’s stated for the record he never raised a finger against them She should take a polygraph Just because he was convicted in a French Court does not mean he is guilty If you saw the photos yes you would think he did it but two black eyes and a broken nose could just as easily come from breaking your nose on granite He is not a liar |
By:
Whispering you don't know he's not a liar witnesses and clinical evidence said otherwise;

Capt__F 11 Sep 19 23:03
was she La Francais ? Yorkshires version of french cricket.. |
By:
Is he retiring from comms altogether then? Shame if so as he is quality.
By:
Computer consultant Ms Moore, 48, who now lives in Monaco, was awarded a symbolic one franc in damages.
By:
How does that work if he battered her?
I have read a lot about this case. Huge degree of sympathy for Geoffrey and little or none for her tells a story! |
By:
You can see the bruises under her eyes come from a broken nose and she has a bruise high on her forehead, probably from where she hit her head on the granite floor! Her face does not look like she was punched out. No bruises near the mouth. No proper shiner from a punch. Bruises come from a broken nose.
By:
Why him? He used to bore me to death with his score rate eg 1 run for every hour - slow motion taken to the extreme. I'd rather watch paint dry.
By:
A lot of our current players could learn a little impossible. That's what test cricket is. Is not a 1 day game.
