Bear My Guest was the b-side to Stand and Deliver and was an absolute corker.
Can also remember The Lemongrass Mrs Robinson EP had Into Your Arms and Being Around which were great songs.

Regularly brought up in 'How were these great songs B'sides?' pieces.
Therefore not really 'forgotten'
(The Lennon-hate song posted by OP, is enjoyable, but the B'side of Uncle Albert?)
A lot of the above are quite famous B'sides. Regularly brought up in 'How were these great songs B'sides?' pieces. Therefore not really 'forgotten'(The Lennon-hate song posted by OP, is enjoyable, but the B'side of Uncle Albert?)
I’ll be your mirror Reflect what you are , in case you don’t know I’ll be the wind , the rain and the sunset The light in your door to show that you’re home

When you think the night has seen your mind That inside you’re twisted and unkind Let me stand to show that you are blind Please put down your hands Cause I see you I find it hard to believe you don’t know The beauty you are But if you don’t let me be your eyes A hand to your darkness , so you won’t be afraid

'We Will Rock You' by Queen started life as the b side of 'We are the Champions' as I recall
Similarly, 'Brown Girl In the Ring' (Boney M) was the b side of 'Rivers of Babylon'
Both were made double a sides after the b sides became popular I think.
I'll have a listen to that one lfc when I get chance.

I'll Be Your Mirror is a great song, but appears on so many records in so many versions, it's not really forgotten.
A few years later the Velvets released Who Loves The Sun as a single from the Loaded LP, and stuck Oh! Sweet Nuthin' on the back of the US release, and Sweet Jane on the back of the UK version, which is just about the ultimate example of a band sticking the wrong song on an A-side ... twice.
I'm struggling to think of a great B-side which disappeared without a trace, though.
New Order had a few really obscure B-sides which only re-emerged years later on compilations, but which everyone who heard them at the time cherished - Cries And Whispers, off the B-side of Everything's Gone Green, is the best one, I think. But everyone knows it now.

My first got a thumbs down in the forgotten category (accepted). To me this is second one just as memorable, hopefully it gets past the scrutineers for consideration

Possibly the last important artists to put some decent effort into it.
'Europe Is Our Playground' - The B'side of 'Trash'. https://youtu.be/LGW7JghZ3A8
Epic production, stunning haunting guitars and a theme that resonates in current times

I am a Lou Reed and Velvet Underground nut, but have to say I don't like Nico's voice. Whilst she is incredibly cool & sexy and the accent is great, she sings flat imo. I agree with you though, that "I'll be your mirror" is a superb song, "Sweet Jane" is the greatest pop song ever written!
