Tricky one. Brexit will be damaging steadily in the short, mid and long term. We may re-enter the EU at some stage.

Corbyn would be horrendous short term and very damaging mid term - but he would be gone after 4-5 years.

If someone was able to write down on a sheet of paper what Brexit entails, then we might be in a position to evaluate its economic impact.
Three years in, we are no closer to knowing the details of what Brexit means than we were at the start of this process.

Every single independant analysis of Brexit says the UK will suffer economically in the short/mid/long term.

A no deal brexit would be far worse in the short and mid term.

Corbyn wouldn't be great, but at least his excesses would help people out, and probably help keep the NHS going - this vile bunch of Tories are chucking money around for no reason and are screwing large elements of the country into the ground - No Deal is a farce, none of these idiots that are meant to represent us appear to have the slightest clue - if they are equally damaging then lets give Corbyn a go, at least he seems to understand that he isnt just in the job for his own self interest

FatherMaguire - you need some guidance from the Lord.

Of course Corbyn is in it for himself. He hates individuals and businesses that create wealth, he hates Jews, he hates enterprise and self made people, he hates gambling, he hates royalty (I am with him on that one bit the gutless coward bows to the Queen lol). He wants to destroy capital/business, he knows he will make the poor poorer but he would sleep better at night knowing the rich got a little less richer.

Why not give Corbyn a chance ... the Tories always try to offer the impression of being fiscally prudent and yet the reality is invariably different - lets just remember the last 10 years of austerity under them and the Liberals and are we significantly better off as a result of it ... No we aren't

We ecaped the financial crisis of 2008 ... and remember it was a World economic collapse created by the banks .. ultimately that was resolved because of considerable input by Brown / Darling  who helped stabilise  more than our own economy to help avoid a catastrophe...

There is this myth of low employment ... whats that all about ... many are on minimum wage ... families on Tax Credits to top up their miserable wage ... zero hour contracts ... it keeps going on and yet people fall for it

Its a myth that the Conservatives are the party which benefit the economy ... get real people

No matter how many examples of socialist/marxist/communist states decimating their own people, impoverishing the whole country, becoming outcasts in the world community, and destroying hope and kids futures you will never convince the millions
in labour working class heartlands like the west midlands/south wales, the north west and nort easth east not to vote labour.

So sad to see intelligent people who have succeeded in life and become rich through working hard, paying lowish taxes, owning property, having pensions etc etc but not attributing any of that to sensible right wing conservative economics.

Quite a simple question to answer.

Britain has always thrived as a free-trading maritime nation, only an imbecile would expect it to sink into the sea without the dead hand of Brussels to guide it.

Jeremy Corbyn is, broadly speaking, way to the Left of any previous Labour administration. It is a sad fact that no Government in human history has served its people well while borrowing from the tenets of Karl Marx.

While you can never be sure about any future event, you should at least allow yourself to be guided by history, and in this case you can only come up with one answer.

Corbyn would be a danger if he won a 100 majority and his MPs were all clones of him and McDonut. A minority administration/coalition with so many moderate MPs could work quite well although his hard left devotees are likely to be very
disappointed.
Bear in mind a lot of the nonsense McDonnell spouts is totally impossible to put into practice - for example his right to buy at a
discount for private tenants.
Report jed.davison September 4, 2019 11:39 AM BST
