How do I stop them? All coming from Botswana and all different numbers. Started last night, about 4 per hour and must have had 20 already today. Over checked for viruses on mobile, but none detected.

Tia for any help

I hate unfamiliar numbers - all mine get checked on "whocallsme", etc then blocked if need be.

Maybe you can do a geo-block or ask your phone provider to.

Sadly a lot of spoofed numbers will still get through. I find it incredible that our
"sophisticated" phone networks somehow lend themselves to being spoofed so that the number
and location displayed is different to what and wear it actually is for that caller.

I heard something on the radio last night (BBC World Service?  Can't mind) about SIM card hacking starting to become a problem.  Maybe this helps point you in the right direction?

Maybe just pick up the call and see what they want? Maybe it will also give you a hint as to who gave your number away.

I'd one from this number (02032393690) just the other day. The caller said he was not selling, but from a marketing company, and I'd been "chosen" to be on page 1 of Google Business. He asked why my business was not on Google Business; the conversation soon headed that way. After briefly explaining why I'd chosen not to I terminated the call abruptly; the caller had a strong Asian accent and calling from London.

Absolute nuisance and disrespectful - what a pathetic profession!

Radio.  Switched off.  Volume up to 11.  Scammer on phone.  Phone next to radio speaker.  Radio turned on.  Scammer unhappy.
