Two that really annoy me......... 1. Drivers who approach a T junction and either sit in the middle of the lane or sit right to turn left or left to turn right.Increasingly popular. 2. Drivers in traffic queues who leave a large gap between themselves and the car in front (probably operating their mobile phone) not realising that they are holding up traffic at roundabouts and junctions behind them.
This is the market without people leaving their full beam on at dogging sites, right? There's nothing so discouteous as those who don't dip their headlights.

Don't enjoy motorway driving at the best of times, but witnessed some absolutely horror driving on the way home from salford royal yesterday, twats who basically think that flicking there indicator once then shooting lanes inches from other cars is ok, was really unbelievable how at least 4 drivers avoided these **** was miraculous really !!!! and
2, Twats that start edging out from side streets, virtually in the middle of the road, trying to force you to stop and let them out, i just blast my horn and go round them, have some patience you ignorant bastards.

It makes my blood boil - but I have lost count of the number of people that undertake me on the motorway using the slow lane - while I am doing a steady 5 0mph in the middle lane! So rude!

There's a 3 lane one-way street near me and some drivers think it perfectly normal to turn off it from the centre lane into a side road.
Seems to happen more and more and is fast becoming the norm. Can't fathom the thinking behind this.

People who swing out Ito the middle of the road in their focus or similar to negotiate a tight left turn as though they’re driving a 80 foot juggernaught.

1. Idiots who are driving faster than me. They'll kill someone, slow down. 2. Idiots who are driving slower than me. Some of us have appointments to get to, get a move on. 3. Idiots who pull out of side roads to try and make you stop and let them out. 4. Idiots who zoom along main roads and never consider letting you out from a side road.

Road users who think not using the indicator will help to prolong the life of the battery - they do not! Road users who think the speed limit does not apply to them! Road users who do not use the bus lane when it's not in operation eg 7/10am or 4/7pm! Road users who are simply ignorant of the Highway Code/Driving and arrogant with big expensive "leased" vehicles! Road users who simply cannot drive!

I know certain cars are famous for not indicating but there is a roundabout near me and I'd say 8/10 of all cars do not indicate on it. It is a proper roundabout, not one you can drive over. It has 4 exits/entrances and it's on a busy road. I can't work out why it's such an indicator blackspot.

I heard some good advice once. Don't shake hands with someone who has just got out of their car after a drive. It is highly probable that they have picked their nose.

Far too many to mention but, at the moment for me, are those who indicate right, when about to exit a roundabout!
So I wait for them to pass, and they are gone!
This doesn't seem to apply to any driver type, in that they can be young, old, BMW or van drivers!
I can't give an incidence of this, but it is far too common!
Consider if you will, that you station yourself at a roundabout, to record such events... you would have to multiply that, by the number of other exits!
Please watch out for this, and post back here.
Not wishing to dilute the seriousness of the above, but have to add those (very many) who indicate when they have already exited!

Drivers (the majority) who possess not a clue how to merge onto a major road from a minor slip road. They think it's sufficient simply to indicate right and blunder out regardless of who or what is coming along the major road. They are subject to "give way" instructions and markings, not that this makes any difference to them. They then cause a domino effect as everyone gets squeezed up and has to brake. They should either give way or, if they must emerge, get their speed up to match or exceed the speed of the traffic on the major road. I follow this strategy and never have a problem, nor get hooted at, nor receive a w**ker gesticulation.

when it comes to motorway driving I think the insurance companies should require a driver to have had some formal motorway training by a driving instuctor before they issue insurance to allow the drive to drive on a motorway. Just lastnight a mile or two south of junction 34 on the M6 a complete tool ran up the back of a Renult kangoo at speed with a familiy inside causing a five car pile up. Just another day on the motorways of Britain where inexperienced drivers are allowed to take to the motorways without a clue as how their driving style and attitude will affect everyone else.

Different motorways are different. Undertaking is verboten up north where they'd rather sit in a tailback than overtake in the wrong lane (though capital punishment for middle-lane hoggers might help here). The M25 round London is like a racetrack at times but with less lane discipline, even though motorways leading off it are perfectly civilised.
@Coachbuster -- the leaving gaps in queues is part of police training (in case the car in front breaks down) and I wonder if it has spread from there, or might come from a foreign highway code equivalent.
Mini-roundabouts still seem to confuse people, despite being around for decades.

despite the having some of the most sophisticated monitoring speed/driving deivces fitted to all lorries that basically mean nobody can get away with speeding, speed limiters are fitted to all lorries so ovetaking slower vehicles or going up hills becomes painful and laborious.

I believe one can overtake on the inside lane (1) if lane 2 or lane 3 are going slower, but must be within the speed limit. For instance, if lane 1 is free/less crowded, and lane 2 or lane 3 are crowded and slow moving overtaking in lane 1 is allowed provided it's within the speed limit . For instance, speed limit is 30mph; traffic in lane 2 and 3 are doing about 25mph - overtake in lane 1 if one already in lane 1 or change into lane 1 to overtake.
Otherwise the outside lanes eg lane 2 or lane 3 are most appropriate for overtaking the vehicle on the left.

Roundabouts. Have to be extra vigilant I know as much as I can about drivers around me. Worse still, driviers on roundabouts who don't know where they are going, who even change their minds while being on the roundabout.
That and drivers who have been out of an evening, who are driving deliberately under the speed limit as they have been drinking. See this on motorways, usually on a Friday and Saturday evening. They are trying to 'avoid' any attention from the police though giving the game away by their perceived tolerance on the road.

Interesting that motor cycles haven't been given a shout here...
Therefore, to put that straight....
Motor cycle riders, who insist in using their high intensity 10,000 watt laser headlights, which cause the car driver complete loss of vision whether from in front or behind!!
They seem to think that it enables them to go faster and to be seen, but it doesn't, as they cant be seen at all!
They might not even be at the front, but you can't see that, or it could be a car, with only one working headlight on high beam!
