The McCain chip advert is the worst, want to put your foot through the screen, advert going.

Every minority out there, in different scenes eating chips.

Watch it and just tick all the boxes!

I find the Tesco adverts really annoying, purely cos I'm sure the girl is saying "Fashion at Testo"
and I can't understand why nobody spotted it before they aired?

It's hard to imagine that serious professional people signed off on those adverts, but clearly someone did.

Then again, we are living in age when Gillette did their best to insult their core long-term male customers, M&S put out some ludicrous LGBTUVWXYZ Sandwich and most infamously of all, Waitrose removed chocolate ducklings from their shelves because they were "racist".

Yes, all that really happened.

You tell 'em Granty.

They aren't going to get another penny from me. You can't trust a business that believes chocolates in the shape of a duckling, made in moulds by machines, are WAAAAAYYYCIST. A business like that can't possibly be taken seriously.

Hope all's well anyway Granty. Haven't been around much lately to see you and the others. Been on holiday actually, an important fact-finding trip to Adultworkland.

The advert that really grinds my gears is that numpty Philip Schofield on "we buy any car". He can't need the money surely, just pure greed?

It's self deprecatory at least and not trying to re-educate you, makes a change to have an unashamed fleecing advert without  baggage these days.

The Advert with the black women looking at the blond blokes hair and thinking of chips
If it was a white bloke looking at a black womens hair and thinking of liquorice flyers or catherine wheels
the ad would not see the light of day

The Nationwide one is cheesy, and I'm a loyal customer for over 4 decades. But, the young lovebirds were funny though. I also hate the one for PC World, why? I experienced sh1tty customer service from their in-store sales assistants most knew very little of their products, and only too keened to sell their extended warranties.

Another business, this time a much-admired global brand of many years standing, is now incredibly doing its best to self-destruct. Coco Chanel and Pierre Wertheimer would be appalled by this ludicrous decision, the very opposite of what the brand has always striven to be.

What next?  Tena Ladies to sign up Frank Baloney?

There's a furniture ad (Bank Holiday Sales!!!) that uses a Queen song.  Why would Queen give permission for them to use it?  They don't need the money and it devalues their song.  There's that song 'Sunny' by Boney M I think.  It was used for a payday loan ad.  Now when I hear the song on the radio, my first thought is about payday loans.  That's not a good connection.

If you think the above companies have exposed themselves as moronic, you ain't seen nothing yet.

It is reported that the "Always" brand (reportedly owned by Proctor and Gamble) has decided to remove a feminine logo from their Sanitary Towel packaging, in order to be more "inclusive".

Perhaps their Chief Executive, or Chairman of the Board would like to explain to us mere mortals which other genders, or maybe members of the animal kingdom, would have felt excluded by the original packaging?

Perhaps these distinguished business people could also tell us roughly how many male customers menstruate, use 'Always' sanitary products, and the amount of turnover such men generate?

This company that deserves to go bust. (On second thoughts, "bust" sounds a bit exclusive to females, so maybe change that to the more inclusive 'chest").
