Brings in the pink pound.

If the pink pound is more than the money spent staging it...there is an argument for it
Why don't gays just organize and pay for it themselves, that is who it is for |
|
By:
They do organise a lot of it, I certainly wouldn't want the council to design my costume.

Any excuse is a great opportunity to shop for a new dress and shoes - and this is one of them. Why would you lot deny me that?
My finger is hovering over my red button. Then it is a short phone call to jemma in his mummysmentum bunker. You are all finnish. With 900 elves in London, listening on the phone, what could possibly go wrong? |

Who can deny that?

Thank you ditchbert ; it seems that there is no longer the freedom of speech to express anything but total solidarity and support for the LGBTQ (+whatever ) community even though their disruptive antics inconvenience everyone else.

I have no issues - "live and let live" is my outlook - but a funny (imo) story.
They are very "woke" where one of my sons lives in Canada and as part of their Pride day celebrations they paint over the crosswalks (similar to our zebra crossings) with the colours of the rainbow (Pride Flag). Over there pedestrians have right of way and they often just step out in front of oncoming cars expecting them to stop! - Anyway most of these rainbow coloured crosswalks are just temporary in the build up to their Pride event but on the 8 major city centre roads (it's a grid system) they made them permanent last Summer and raised them up slightly almost like a little speed bump. Some weeks after the Pride event that year a (practically blind) old lady with a walker (Zimmer frame in old parlance) ventures to cross the road using one of these slightly raised rainbow coloured crosswalks - but she had her left side walker wheels on the slightly raised painted crosswalk and her right side walker wheels on the slightly lower road surface. When she heard the signal to cross, she put all of her weight onto the walker, buckled and collapsed due to the uneven surface and she broke her hip. I was reading about this in the local rag and I have never been so disappointed in a reporter: She went with the headline "local woman starts legal proceedings against county", when surely it was screaming out for "Pride comes before a Fall" ![]() |

It's a pretty scary thought to think that he could be genuine on that thread.
