Clarke and Hatesmen.
They don't just want to replace a leaver (briefly in as PM, the HORROR) with someone who is more moderate and against "no deal", they want a tag team of ardent remainers in to prevent Brexit completely down the line, but won't say that outright, as they treat us like fools, it'll just somehow "happen" that way in an unavoidable manner.... |

Rebecca Long Bailey may now become prime minister.
By:
Oh FFS...
By:
Love to know how someone can be in a political party and not be the leader and be subordinate to that party leader and be PM and on any possible planet be considered independent of that leader. Especially a party run by control freak marxist extremists.
By:
That's the beauty of a 'government of national unity'. Apparently these have not been lead by the leader of the opposition in the past.
By:
Rebecca Long Bailey. Getting worse by the minute.
By:
They know what is best for you. 'two legs' and all that - they associate with the 'farmers' - they don't represent you - lots of extra feed in for you

By:
We live in a time I'm afraid where, even during a time as momentous as this, they are likely to pick someone based on somethng like gender/diversity other than ability to do the job. You could weep.
By:
I could be in the frame - I had better get some new outfits.

Corbyn quoting that earlier today EK. I doubt tradition will be allowed to paper over the dangers of him in charge.
By:
30 seconds after I typed that, the BBC news switches to yet another of its obligatory gender diversity stories.
By:
With a government of national unity, anything is possible. One minute Layla Moran is PM, the next minute Dennis Skinner's rocking up at Buckingham Palace to form a government.
By:
Harman at least I think wouldn't serve under Corbyn and is no fan, Bailey is happy to sit in his cabinet and we've seen just how chippy and angry and awful on question time appearances.. It's amazing I'd actually say "Harman for PM"

Who you kidding Mac.FFS it took the NUM years and a pile of money in legal fees to get him out of their Union owned London flat. It wasn't his main residence that's a He made a fortune out of the misfortune of the miners. Check out his main home. |
By:
It's not like him using his position as a vehicle for his militant socialist politics helped contribute to a disasterous miners strike and lead to mines that didn't need to be shut being shut either and many of the men who paid union fees to make him rich losing their jobs. He's a legendary "decent man"...

By:
He earned his money as an Union executive. All legal and above board.
Unlike you, I have met him and drank with him and I can assure you that you won`t find an ex-miner with a bad word for him. His acts of kindness are well known in mining areas. |
By:
FFS is there anyone you haven't met Mac.
![]() Joined the Union at the age of 19 and milked it for a fortune. 2002 he ceased being the NUM president but it took them 10 years to get him out of their flat. He then tried to force them to pay his legal costs. Good use of the miners contributions? |
By:
JC stfu you know nothing about Mining and have never met the man. Never done a hard day`s work in your life and wouldn`t have lasted a shift down the pit.
By:
Oh oh it's that time of the night, "milling mac" is swinging again
![]() |
By:
So meeting him once gave you a working knowledge of mining?
By:
(...and you know nothing about me other than the huge chip on your shoulder activating your braincell that activate agro..)
By:
You stfu too aka
, you know nothing either about Scargill the man. I have met and known many prominent people. |
By:
Didn't need to meet Fred west to know he's a bad 'un.

Macs always like this when celtic get thumped in Europe.
![]() You see Sheridans Defence of Lennon vid on twitter? Will make you cringe. He met Scargill as well btw. ![]() |

I'm sure you "meeting" a tw&t like that totally rewrites history. Jaaaysus...

I come from a mining background Aka and I am proud of it and know all about it. Moved on and done well for myself but I don`t forget my roots.
Your "friend" the underachiever who can`t spell, wouldn`t have lasted a shift down the pit. One thing I`ve learned in life is that people who have to keep stating how clever they are, are always thick c**** in reality. JC is as bright as a 20 Watt bulb. Rabid brexiteer who voted to Remain ![]() ![]() BBC & Channel 4 Hater who watches nothing else but …. the BBC and C4 ![]() ![]() Liberal and Labour Party hater who previously voted for them ![]() ![]() |

By:
I had relatives worked in the pits and my wifes brother was a miner but I'm still no expert.
In fact the first thing I heard my brother-in-law say when he lost his job was "Thank F*** I can get a healthier one now" and that's no joke. |
By:
A lot of miners felt the same way. They got big pay offs and some looked after it. The majority knew nothing else and ended up drinking and gambling it all away.
By:
Lots are now dead. A breed of men who were the backbone of the nation. I have had family killed in Pit disasters, others crippled for life following major accidents down pit. Seams collapsing on them when lying flat on their back digging out the coal with a pick for 12 hour shifts. Heavy drinkers, gamblers who loved a brawl

Love how Mac as usual consists of 3 things. 1. Identity politics. 2. Playing the man not the ball. 3. Ignoring any points made.
No wonder he's a Scottish separatist, it's all they ever do. So what did I say that can be argued with? It was a short post. Lets review: 1. It's not like him using his position as a vehicle for his militant socialist politics : Tick,FACT. He was a freaking COMMUNIST. 2. Helped contribute to a disasterous miners strike: Tick, FACT. The way he overrode democracy during it is legend. Many miners (majorities) didn't want to strike. 3. Lead to mines that didn't need to be shut being shut ..and many of the men [see 4] losing their jobs : Tick, FACT. 4. Who paid union fees to make him rich : Tick, FACT. Even after he left his position, as Aka points out above, he was still milking it. I expect ignoring the above and a retort about being posh and English or something... |
