Well life is a risk Brassneck
If you consider that you are in permanent danger of a head on collision every time you drive your car, I suggest you do not drive? There is a finite chance that will happen, I think it is very small. Most drivers will not be involved in a head on collision. I don't think a gambler has a serious problem, unless he cannot control his gambling. Otherwise he/she is just doing what he/she likes for personal entertainment, and perhaps a desire to get rich? |

I would like to get rich gambling, unfortunately the odds of that happening do not seem very favourable... to date
But there are some who have.. probably been laying my bets. ![]() |

There's a sinister reason why they want to ban gambling, and its got nothing to do with "helping" us either Personally when it comes to gambling I'm more at risk of the slots, I honestly did feel myself going when playing them, I was able to stop and self exclude, it left a depressed feeling for a few days as well because I wanted to play them again. I can put a tenner on a horse and when it loses I'm not fussed about it its just oh well and I sign out. With slots I want to deposit more and more and more and that's where I drew the line when I decided to self exclude. Its down to self control and emotions, horse racing/football/golf and cricket don't have that effect on me so I'm happy to keep playing, I feel in control of it. But I don't feel banning gambling is the right way, the person needs to take responsibility for his/her well being when it comes to gambling |

Although I would ban these "casino streamers", they earn money out of misery and that's just morally wrong, they pretend to be your friend and that's morally corrupt in my opinion
Some of these "streamers" don't even understand gambling, they are mainly hired by the casino to play their games and get in the suckers, that's where I draw the line, they are enticing people with problems to come and do their b0llucks in. |

gambling in itself is fine in moderation but you always see bookies on poor deprived estates for some reason ,can't think why ..always puzzled me that .
![]() these bookies must take a hell of a loss setting up shop where folk have no money or are unemployed ...these poor bookmakers ... i can only think they stay open out of charity ,and they are employing a cashier . we really should applaud them |

depends what you mean by gambling, with the machines over the long run you cannot win, they are programmed to win,the trouble with bookmakers and casino's is if they think you are good at the game like beating sp or card counting at blackjack they are too quick to stop you even for small stakes

not to mention their electricity bill ...running all those machines with the flashing lights must take up the killowatts

Strangely its this that sucks me in, its "teases" for the bonuses as well, like the feeling its always just round the corner, its very basic and subtle how they target people People need to work themselves out, how they react to certain things. the hardest person to work out is yourself in my opinion, what triggers anger, happiness, adrenaline etc etc Once worked out you can then stop whatever is triggering these emotional reactions |

There is no longer such a thing a gambling with the online bookies. You either give them your money, or you don't. They are sufficiently clued up to know, after a few bets, whether you are likely to be a long term loser or winner, and if you are a winner you won't be allowed to bet. So it shouldn't be called gambling, as that implies you might win, perhaps Gifting would be a better word to use.

Are the Pillowcases still full ? Brass
|
|
By:
hi casemoney, the pillow cases are too small to stack the bundles,so i found out about an old time pillow.when couples got marries 100 years ago it was a tradition to give them a double pillow so husband and wife would sleep on the same pillow.these pillows were called bolster pillows and were 6 feet long, now the pillow cases for the bolster hold twice as much as the standard pillow which means i only have to go to the bank to deposit twice a week instead of the usual 4 times, but some times i feel silly walking into the bank with two big long pillows full of notes, and they be quiet heavy, its like carrying a roll of carpet on each shoulder.i was thinking of writing to Richard Johnson and asking him not to win so many races as my back suffers so much pain carrying the two 6 feet bolsters full of money to the back twice a week.

I sometimes wonder when in a car how amazing it is there aren't MORE accidents. Two streams of traffic going at each other with a combined speed of 120-140 mph and a small deviation in one vehicle could mean instant death.
-- As an aside "There is no longer such a thing a gambling with the online bookies. " Well yes but the exchanges are still here and you don't get banned for winning on them? I totally accepty your point though for an old fashioned bookie bet. |
