Just saw the trailer for this program about a muslim woman whose daughter died in Manchester aged 12, woman alleges institutional racism by police in investigating her death.
Have no comment on the case as don't know much about it but my question is when VB asked her if she believed Police had treated the case differently because she was a muslim, woman replied "Ha", which i presume is her native tongue for Yes! Surely if she clearly understood the question asked in English she could have answered "Yes"?

Just the BBC being the BBC if wasn't for the law in forcing payment of the TV tax the BBC would have died off years ago.
As for this woman just another example of the the ungrateful in action

Having listened to the report does appear that the case came to a conclusion quite quickly but if no evidence to the contrary, what can the police do, don't expect any CCTV near a pool in woodland.
Back to my original point, family been here for 2 1/2 years and know very little English, surely refugees are offered courses in speaking basic English, a poor show if they are not.

I get what you are saying macarony, but as a mother if you think your child has been pushed into the water deliberately you would want a full investigation wouldn't you. Police in a spot really if nothing to suggest anything untoward.

Yer because in these hyper race sensitive times the police are not going to investigate a crime involving a child

I used to watch her programme, then I realised it's more a platform for ethnic groups to voice their grouses on racism, the UK and it's institutions.

For a very long time after the disaster of Grenfell Tower, the show was mainly blanket coverage of the event to the exclusion of other everyday tragedies. For reasons which are obvious.

The BBC has become a political movement, it's quite disgraceful that the public are forced to fund it if they want to watch other television channels.

Obviously this woman is angling for a claim against the police for doing their job and she will be hoping for citizenship.
If it was up to me she would be on a plane to somewhere safe after all Britain is now a dangerous place to live

Saw a first on this programme last week, a bloke stoood in for VD, always been a female dominated programme when I have watched it , females often outnumbering the guests in the studio or screen feed.Very much a wimmin's programme.
