It was Fergie time in reverse.

I might of got that wrong, was it Hammer time?

Spurs were playing united on day and united were 3-0 down at half time.
the united players feared for the lives ,what fergie would say in the dressing room . Alex walked in and said"right lads ,you can have next Monday and Tuesday off to do whatever you want is you win this game"and left the room. United went out and won 3-5 or 3-6(not sure) "now thats how you motivate young millionaires "he said to bobby charlton after the game . |

the second before the big bang there was absolutely nothing
Well one second is time, is it not Brassneck? Better way to say it, there was nothing, BOOM..the Big Bang..at that moment time started, at the B in BOOM |

By:
Time is a measure of change...if nothing changes, no time has passed.
Or if it had we would not be aware of it |
|
By:
^ I agree, time only exists if there’s something relative to measure it.
I do however think that the singularity was ‘always’ there and there was ‘never’ nothing. But because it was only one object there was no relativity and no time. |

I know exactly what happened just before 'the big bang'.
|
|
By:
but you can not have a big bang unless you have time,no time no nothing, nothing can happen if there is no time.
|
|
By:
There was no sound so there was no bang. Big is relative, there was nothing with which to compare it, therefore there was no big bang.
|

We have observed that space-time is expanding so theorists have extrapolated back and postulated an event which marked the beginning of space-time. Sounds logical but how do you prove it?
|
|
By:
As we look further out is space, we also look further back in time
We have not yet seen all the way back to the big bang...we need a bigger telescope |
|
By:
think or the big bang as a dog race and they are off, time in trap 1 heads the field, space expanding is second in trap 2 and light(nothing travels faster than light)is running 3rd ,now space cant pass time out because space needs time to expand, and light cant pass expanding space out because it has no where to go,light also needs time to travel.
result of the big bang race. first=number 1 TIME SECOND =NUMBER 2 EXPANDING SPACE THIRD=NUMBER 3 LIGHT. OBJECTION.THE BIG HOLE IN THE BIG BANG THEORY OBJECTS TO THE FIRST 3,As space expansion and time have to travel faster than light.and that puts a hole in the theory that nothing travels faster than light.and while i am at it ,nothing escapes from a blackhole ,not even scientific bullsh1t about a big bang that never happened. |

When I used to go to the dogs they would announce
"Two minutes to the off" How can that be if time doesn't exist before they are off? I went past HG stadium the other day, it's now a new housing estate almost finished. It's another world as if the previous one of racing dogs, nanny goat, pints of beer, burgers and tic tac men never existed. A silent world without colour or sound and fury, hope and disappointment, cheering and having dinner in a large glass-fronted gallery. A few will have a nice house, a few others will have made some money so it must be an improvement, mustn't it? |

coming next week.THE BIG BANG FINAL.IN TRAP ORDER.
1 TRAP "GOD" 2 TRAP"TIME" 3 TRAP "ALWAYS A UNIVERSE" 4 TRAP "LIGHT" 5 TRAP "SPACE EXPANSION" 6 TRAP "SPINOZA'S GOD" .feel free to express your view on who will win this race. ![]() |

You see the Universe as some kind of Greyhound Race Brassneck
There have been worse theories Everything was created at the moment of the big bang how we can ever know anything before that? Time is a strange thing it can pass at different rates....speed affects time, the faster things go, the slower time passes, Gravity affects time. I wish I had paid more attention at school when I was young, must be wonderful to be clever enough to understand these times. Then as now I wasted my time gambling...oh well |

By:
I lament the decline of Greyhound Racing as well Foinavon
When I was young I spent nearly every night at one or other Greyhound Track in London, except Sunday Not one track left in London now, tastes have changed. |

By:
Are they parallel non-universes where the hare broke down and the big bang never happened?
|
|
By:
Well if we stick to the Greyhound Race Universe theory I suppose there must have been mouse

I used to go regularly, Gery. The sense of anticipation at the click of the turnstile and the distant yelping from the kennels were moments to savour. A fun evening with good friends and not expensive so long as you didn't get serious about handing your money over to the sharks on the rails. Hall Green was local and much better than Perry Barr at that time. Times change.

i was just thinking "people say nothing lasts for ever, but TIME will last forever no matter what happens, now that its up and running nobody or nothing can stop it,and if there is a god ,he would not exist unless he had time to exist,so time will always exist, time is everlasting, time will always be,time is eternal ,time is forever and forever, time lasts forever,no ifs or buts, you are stuck with it,now all i need to do is invent a time machine,so be careful if you tell your girl you will love her until the end of time, she may come back to you with "yeh, yeh, yeh,i read Brass's post as well"

The expansion of the Universe is speeding up. We used to believe it would come back together under the force of Gravity.
But this is not happening, Dark Matter, Dark Flow appear to be speeding up the expansion. The only way we know time passes is if things change, if the Universe ever stops changing, then as far as we are concerned time will have stopped, we would have nothing to measure the passing of time. You would not want to see your favourite girl at the end of time Brassneck, unless she had stopped aging, believe me |

voyager 1 and voyager 2 and time, now there are 3 things that could last forever,i read something about what ever the voyagers are made from they could last for zillions and zillions of years.

ok,here is my next question=if time was created at the big bang*according to science )and there was nothing before the big bang it follows that if there is multi universes (science say there could be)the multi universes would have to be younger than our own universe because our big bang created time, and the other universes would have to start after time was created, they could not start if there was no time and no nothing,so it follows that if there is other universes we are the oldest.so that means our universe is the most advanced.is that correct?
the hole in the big bang theory is getting bigger,in fact the theory is full of holes. |

It`s simply the best explanation they could come up with, it should still make sense but it doesn`t.

By:
In the beginning there was a sea of spirit and it filled all of space. The spirit was static, content, and aware of itself.
In the center, the sparkling mind of the spirit shone. This was the beginning of the individuality of the spirit. This was what the spirit discovered itself to be when it awakened. This spirit was God. God desired self-expression and desired companionship; therefore, God projected the cosmos and souls. The cosmos was built with music, arithmetic, geometry, harmony, system, and balance. The building blocks were all of the same material - the life essence - God simply changed the wavelength and rate of vibration of these building blocks thereby creating the patterns for multitudes of life forms. This action resulted in the law of diversity which supplied endless patterns. God played on this law of diversity as a pianist plays on a piano - producing melodies and arranging them in a symphony. |

Brassy, space and time are not independent entities. Our universe has a four dimensional continuum called spacetime and one would expect other universes postulated in a multiverse to each have spacetime of their own independent of all others.

Space-time never sat well with me. Relativity is such a brilliant, logical explanation for virtually everything and then it was like Einstein couldn’t be bothered with some tricky bits, so he just phoned the rest in. The calculations almost work, that’ll do won’t it?
Light doesn’t travel Albert, wtf were you thinking? |
