for murdering her 2 daughters. 64 would have been better; but at least she has been given a proper sentence

She should never be released.

Agreed.

Was seen laughing at the funeral of her own child.

I'm particularly confused by the fact she was described as a 'model'. She's a ghastly looking creature.

Just awful.

Pure filth. See what social life she gets in there. Throw away the keyjob.

A mother who murdered her two young daughters has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 32 years.

Louise Porton, 23, killed Lexi, three, and seventeen-month-old Scarlett in January and February last year after they "got in the way" of her sex life.

Porton, formerly of Skiddaw, Rugby, Warwickshire, accepted 41 friend requests on a dating app just a day after the first child, Lexi, died and was described by prosecutors as being "calm and emotionless" following Scarlett's death.

Porton was heard laughing at a funeral parlour by a funeral arranger, who told her trial that he saw her "using FaceTime and that she was speaking to a man".

Warwickshire Police said it was "clear from the evidence" of damning internet searches about death and Lexi's hospital admissions that Porton had twice tried to kill her daughter before eventually succeeding.

When Lexi was ill in hospital, just over a week before she died, Porton took topless photos in the toilets and was arranging to perform sex acts for money with a man she had met through a website.

Jailing her on Friday, Mrs Justice Yip described her actions as "evil" and "calculated", and told her: "These were blameless young children who were plainly vulnerable and ought to have been able to rely on their mother to protect and nurture them.

"Instead you took their young lives away."

Horrifying case. I'm not one for extrajudicial "justice" but with a bit of luck the decent women in prison will make her life misery.

If she's what constitutes a model in Rugby, no wonder they took to playing with odd shaped balls. Also given the amount of attention she apparently receives on dating apps, appears to show the stories that at best (being kind) "average" women will get bombarded with male attention holds up.

As sickening a crime as you could ever imagine, those poor kids. How she wasn't given life indefinitely really just beggars belief and hopefully her life behind bars will be as tortuous as possible.

Yes, I started to read the story but had to stop. This type of thing upsets me when it's poor little kids.

Please explain where I called him a good father....

Lots of children live with one parent. I'm not going to speculate why, in this case, the father wasn't living with the mother of his children.

I think, as I'm sure most right-minded people do, that he deserves a bit of sympathy here.

Both of us can be right.

He is, of course, totally innocent. But yes, he could be a terrible father as well.

That doesn't stop him from mourning the loss of his two daughters does it?

Makes your blood boil when you read about this sort of case doesn't it, just surprised no health official, Doctor , Nurse, Social Worker didn't suspect something was wrong before, the amount of times she took her oldest daughter to hospital having stopped breathing. Also sl@gs of the worst kind like this b1tch should automatically have a hystererectomy performed on them. Usually i'm all for capital punishment for premeditated murder but i think this sentence is not too lenient, could have been whole life imo but nevertheless this sw1nes life will be a life of misery, not much of a social life for her.

according to the statement of the father - read out in court; he had informed SS. "I sit and think day and night and I can't understand why my two little girls were taken away because Louise wanted to sleep around.
"Maybe if social services had listened to me, my girls would still be alive today."

lessons will be learned no doubt

Clearly stating of course the father being slated above had knowledege of the kids, cared about them, and was in contact with social services trying to save them.

evil. pure evil. she will more than likely get a rough time in prison but it's almost no consolation is it. clearly not a very well young lady. at least we know prison will not be a cake walk for her she will get beaten up and spat on etc. but f*k it is no justice really for those two children

devil's advocate, as a tax payer you'll be paying for her food and lodge in prison.  Now i understand why some people want the death penalty brought back ...
By:

When: 02 Aug 19 22:27
Death Penalty might be ok *IF* the conviction is 10000% solid but for the authorities to go that way they'd have to admit not all convictions are as solid as others, that there is room for error, some convictions are incorrect, and they'd be killing innocent people. I don't think they want that openly discussed, even though it's blindingly obvious.

Can't see a "Degree of Certainty" grading being stamped on murder convictions any time soon.

(They don't seem to care so much about killing the innocent in the US, but their legal system is hardly one to imitate).

It can be hard for fathers to have influence in their child's life especially when you've got a lunatic sl@g of mother getting in your way whilst sh@gging everything she can and telling umpteen porkies to the authorities.
There was one from my area (they subsequently moved) the grandad was known to people in my family and I played darts against the guy who was a straight bloke absolutely shocking levels of abuse and failures from the system.

Sometimes orders are placed on fathers to stay away from their children and the mother

They are not allowed to intervene by Law

The Law tends to believe the women's side of it, more than the man's nowadays
