Seriously though, if they were tried here I wouldn't trust our judges to hand out a whole life term.  Also, our prisons are cushy compared to what they could have experienced elsewhere.  They killed and tortured Americans too; is there not a spot in Guantanamo for them?  Would be fascinating to see which low-life lawyer(s) rock up to defend them.  In an ideal world they could be used for experimentation.  I've never understood why drugs that are intended to treat humans are tested on physiologically different animals.  The Beatles, Ian Huntley, Peter Sutcliffe, those who killed Lee Rigby etc etc are all ideal candidates for medical experiments and would produce more meaningful results.
