Folk will think that I am making this up but it`s true.

Guy in the pub felt unwell with severe constipation and went to the Doctor.

Doctor asked him, "What colour are your stools"?

He answered, "Brown with tartan seats"!

Are you talking about yourself, Sontaran?  If so I am very sorry to hear about it.

I done a very watery one in a field earlier but I'm OK now.
Report SontaranStratagem July 29, 2019 11:14 PM BST
No its someone else, Annie

He was asked to go back into hospital this morning after his blood results came back Sad

He's constantly dehydrated, he's having to empty his stoma bag 6 or 7 times a day and its very watery all the time Sad

He's back on a drip tonight bless him and he's feeling quite fatigued/tired a lot as well, as well as losing a bit of weight

Surprised you still post sarchastic jokes on threads about cancer patients especially when your forum pal smirnoff had been one for so long, shouldn't think he'd pull you up for it though.

Report SontaranStratagem July 29, 2019 11:17 PM BST
The drugs they've got him on to thicken his feaces up aren't working sadly and he's on highest dose possible already Sad

They are suppose to to stop him going to much as well, he's not really eating that's the scary thing because he's having to empty this stoma bag every couple of hours
Report annie. July 29, 2019 11:17 PM BST
That is awful, Sontaram.  I hope he feels better soon.
Report SontaranStratagem July 29, 2019 11:19 PM BST
We don't know if it is cancer, denzil, as he wont tell his family what the doctors have said bless him

It doesn't sound to good though, to be emptying that much without having put much back in is quite baffling

cheers, Annie

Found out today he does have crohns disease which isn't a shock Crazy

But his symptoms are quite severe in that his emptying is very frequent and watery

Crohns can lead to Colon Cancer?
Report DenzilPenberthy July 30, 2019 5:19 PM BST
Unfortunately yes:

Unlike ulcerative colitis, which causes inflammation only in the colon and rectum, Crohn's disease can cause tissue to become inflamed anywhere in the digestive tract. Patients with Crohn's colitis—particularly younger patients—are at increased risk for adenocarcinoma, the same type of carcinoma as colon cancer.

Cheers, Denzil

He's having to be put on a drip quite a lot because of the dehydration

They are doing more scans and regular blood tests Sad

Obviously the Crohns will need to be managed with what food he can eat but he's not taking it very seriously and is currently munching on crisps and chocolate, not a lot either but all he's eat is a bag of crisps and 2 Yorkie bar pieces CrazyCrazy

getting back to the subject......

thats an awful lot of colon to lose mate.......

i lost two to three inches from the bowel and it gave me nowt but heartache for literally 18mths after i had bag removed cos when i needed to go i needed to go ........

Had liver resection in Oct last year where they re fitted the bag much to my shock when i woke up but its been much more manageable since then even though i have the odd flurry of watery substance in the bag

What's this slavver for? Presumably some sort of pot kettle rhetorical p!ss take after our recent dalliances and you one of the forum greats who's seen it all howay man bonnie lad you're better than that.
Was steering ya pal away from danger on the other thread the 'colon donor' attempt at humour will be sickening to some obviously you're the most important so that's fine.
As all our interactions are still on the forum thought you'd be better served to chalk this one down to experience, there's only so many times you can pretend you aren't still niggled and your porkies are still there 'm'lud' as is the 'troof'.
Hope you aren't going to do this like you've done for 11 years with mart and claim he's the one tapping you.
Got to be worth a laugh LaughLaughLaughWink

There's plenty sneaky types waiting to pull the trigger and get people banned (not really important to me only come on here when bored) though I've had warnings and threads/posts removed lately as have plenty others. After mouses muslim meltdown last year which got him the bullet he's likely to get canned quicker than most and probably for longer this time,if only you'd fully read threads pal it's not just YOUR opinion that counts it's not a good trait for a forumite.
