What a meanie shawn is today, woman got nothing in straight Q@A session, he offered her either -£1000, nothing or a high offer off £1000. That can't be in the spirit of the game!

She took nothing in the middle and got through but usually he'd offer 30k or something much higher to a player who never got a question right in the cashbuilder, very mean spirited imo.

Not the chase but I think this recent quiz answer will take some beating.
Cant remember the show. The question was - Who is the famous PM father of Stephen Kinnock. Answer given was Tony Blair. Incredible. |

Pretty sure Stephen Kinnock's father wasn't a PM. So clearly a trick question, and Tony Blair is perhaps a better answer?!!

I suspect that the Chasers are often told by the show's producers how much to offer e.g.in charity shows
it can be up to £100k. If you ever get on the programme you would want Shawn,he is the weakest chaser. |

There is a UK wide monthly quiz of 100 questions that anyone can enter [£3 entry] 2 of the eggheads are
always in the top 4.Only Paul and The Governess of the Chasers take part regularly and do well if they make the top 10. |
