I think when reporting the suffering caused to women and children caught up in this sad state of affairs, it helps if you show "women and children". What do you want then to show? - The criminals wearing bandanas who Trump is rightfully trying to keep out and will get into America anyway? Sure it`s a problem but can you fault people trying to get a better life for their kids? If I were in their boots, I would do the same thing.

He'd rather have them show images what he could use to scare his children.

The question nobody seems to ask:  What is the Mexican government doing to make their country more habitable?

Mac the problem is that normally the amount of males in the 16 to 25 bracket far outweighs the number of women and children but it is only these they show.

I think they said 680,000 caught on the news. I'm not sure if that was this year so far or calendar year date to date. Either way this is a HUGE number.

Yes of course people want better lives but it's not the responsbility of everyone else to give it them [1]. The answer (as usual) is of course to make the countries they come from less crap. I'm sure however the tin foilers will be along in a second to say the only reason they are crap is the US or something, despite these countries existing for 100s+ of years and in many cases (e.g. Venezuela) having incredible resources to hand. Lizards or capitalism I'm sure...

[1] Closer to home as the population of other countries keeps skyrocketing (stats widely available) and the quality of life in overcrowded poor countries vs Europe widens, this might be something to toughen up on.

Stat I just looked at said something like 7% of illegal immmigrants caught entering US are sub 16. And knowning the way illegal immigrants to the EU destroyed all paperwork so e.g. 22 year olds were "16", that's probably inflated.

I don't understand tbh, other than cost, what the complaint about a wall IS. I can understand rationally the case for thinking it might not work well and be a waste of money, I get that. But what irritates me is the sort of "no borders" attitude that having a way of stopping illegal immigration into a sovereign state is an evil act, and it might even offend people trying to illegally enter a country. It's not. It just isn't, but that's the SJW/Snowflake take on it.

I remember a report on one of the other channels showed the true scale of the problem.

Hardly a woman or child in view. That's the reality in Europe.

That's what I mean aka. During peak "migrant crisis" you'd see WIDE shots of predominantly say 18-25 year old young men, but the close IN shots on the BBC would be of sad kids even if they were the only ones for 5 miles. And the BBC infamously edited for example, during that, a syrian man shouting and then grabbing his wife and taking her to the ground in protest and not being allowed to progress in front of Hungarian police, to make it look like the police had put them on the ground and were now standing over them intimidating them. The BBC don't need to photoshop to twist things.

I say Syrian, hey even I'm guilty, that's how insidious it is, he may well not have been :) During that time His Diversity's Voice also tried to suggest they were all syrians, but of course there were huge amounts people from all over coming from MUCH farther east and south. And of course many lying where they were from.

People come from poorer Middle Eastern and African countries to what they see as rich European countries
