Just me getting annoyed at the bells or xylophone in the background any time a journalist is filmng outside parliament these days?

I picked out the Monty Python theme. Apparently it’s a glockenspiel.
Channel 4 news must have stuck a microphone on the thing tonight. Absoluteley ridiculous.
I know C4 news is generally incompetent but if they MUST do an interview right beside a guy with a glockenspiel, the Nigel Tufnel of glockenspiel players who has it turned up to 11, have their sound engineers heard of a directional microphone?

Or given the bells are at a high frequency and speech is generally < 4khz, stick a bloody notch / high eq filter on it?
