Clearly in reality he's just a front for the bigger figures though, he's just a fall guy, I mean he's 19 years old with top level diplomatic contacts and paying £130k for Facebook ads aimed at remain MPs, yer right.

I must say i am slightly surprised that the more......... umm....... patriotic of the posters on here don't have more to say on this. I do believe some of them were adamant that it was part of some left wing plot but not only does it show that the whole resources of the brexit side cannot find a conspiracy to stop brexit amongst the civil service but that they will drag the country to their level of morals to achieve whatever it is they want.
That's the problem with far right politics - number 1 is all that matters amongst most of them so morals and loyalty play a second fiddle to personal goals - the far right of this country has always been able to shoot itself in the foot even when not holding a gun and it's good too see it continuing apace.

the integrity of the civil service has been called into question by the lunatics, they seem to think you can send them in to negotiate with contradictory red lines and still come away with a good deal. when you get the inevitable bad deal you blame everybody but yourselves.

purges of the civil service are the type of thing i associate with tin pot dictatorships / banana republics, now its just another day in our national embarrassment.
