I used to loath listening to the UK theme.

Now after witnessing the road that the BBC has gone down I can see why they finished using it which I didn't at the time.

They'll never ever no way never bring it back.

The bloke who wrote "I vow to thee my country" was the British Ambassador to the USA.  Holst took the poem and set it to one of the themes from Jupiter from his Planets Suite.

holst the planets on tonight, cant say ive enjoyed the 1st two days .

' .......listening to holst, the planets.'

Was on BBC4 the other evening - a musical documentary -  presented by Brian Cox.

Cox wasn't playing anything ... He was keyboard in D:Ream, though.

Last night?
Well they all looked very nice to me.

The audience looked very nice and the orchestra looked very nice, as did the two lady presenters who looked very nice indeed.

They all looked like very nice people to me.

People with good taste are easy to spot.
