poor lad will never live that down. It wasn't too troublesome for the Aussies he worked for though. No offence Mr Swagman

i always like him and havent changed my view. i think he had a problem that became a drink problem and he got himself into several scrapes. it was a wonderful sight to see an english spinner actually spinning the ball. his fielding and batting only added to his appeal, he was throwback.

plenty have been able to spin it. but most of them were aiming at long leg. No investment in spinners tbh. They spent 20 years looking for the new Botham; they're doing the same looking for the new Warne. Some decent tweakers amongst the offies

. i am thinking in particular of the king of spain.swann was first rate for some time as well, i think he tailed off due to injuries. absolutely cowardly how he cried off half way through an away ashes thrashing, yet the south african is the one who gets all the grief. all imo of course. |

nah you have that right, Mr Swagman; he couldn't wait to get his feet up on TMS

it was an absolute disgrace that the ecb and the senior players tried to pin that 5-0 thrashing on pietersen

indeed Mr Mafeking; a sorry affair
