British actor Lashana Lynch will be introduced as the new 007 in the next instalment in what is being described as a “pivotal” scene.
A film insider told Mail on Sunday that she’ll be tasked with tracking Daniel Craig’s character and bringing him out of retirement for a new mission.
“There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M [played by Ralph Fiennes] says, ‘Come in 007,’ and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful and a woman,” the insider said, adding: “It’s a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond but he’s been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman. The reports suggest that Bond will try to seduce the female Bond, who will resist his advances.
Bond 25, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, has been co-written by Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Hopefully Phoebe Waller-Bridge can reintroduce some of the comedy that has been sorely lacking since Daniel Craig's deep and moody interpretation of the character.

 . Lashana Lynch will take on the mantle of 007 in the context of this film, and this film only, she won't be the leading actor in any future bond film. The all female 'oceans' film bombed as did the all female ghostbusters reboot, money talks and fanny walks. |

I've absolutely no problem with a spy thriller with a black woman but it's not BOND is it?
It's pathetic. I see the lovely Scarlett Johansen (who seems very sensible and doesn't like Snowflakes, so is of course hated) is in hot water again from the SJWs. Apparently she was going to play a "Trans" man and the professionally outraged **** community are taking up arms as the role of ACTING a trans person must go to a trans person. It would be consistent therefore that Trans people shouldn't play the role of non Trans people but of course they'd scream their t1ts off if you said that. Same as "black" roles must never be played by white people but black people playing what were historically white roles, that's fine. |
