I would imagine both Detraveller or were you there Live and know Different , very good film

Amazing the damage 10 men could do in a big city , when there is no rapid response Sad

Stayed in the Oberoi the previous week, left on Thursday night - only 6 days before the attacks.

Often thought how many times have all of us just missed a potentially fatal situation but are unaware - e.g. car on wrong side of road just before you passed etc. Maybe its just once or twice in a lifetime, if at all. Its gets you wondering.

Obviously felt very lucky as opposed to those unfortunate people who were victims of those cowardly b*stards, especially since that trip was looking at one stage at having to be delayed a week, but we decided to go ahead, mostly because I was committed to going to a a family weddingShocked.

All so random.

Oh yes,I used the escalator that caught fire in Kings Cross station the night before it happened at the same time the fire started as I was on my way to a Tuesday night football match at Highbury. If the match was on a Wednesday,I might not be here now.

Seth Macfarlane (creator of American Dad / Family Guy etc) should have been on one of the 9/11 flights but missed it, arriving too late at the airport as he'd got wrecked the night before. Life IS very random. And what a loss it would have been, huge amounts of people love his shows!

Brainwashed Kids Em , Dreadful, but as you say a very good film . Most of the Staff who survived at the hotel  returned to Work there ..

One bloke  was offered to go Home when it Kicked off , his reply was this is my home , he had worked there years .if the Film

is to be Believed he was killed Sad

I hardly ever watch documentaries based on real events. They can easily be a fictional account yet they determine how many people in the world will remember that event.

Do you mind me asking why you use the words 'if the film is to be believed...'? Is that just a language term one uses or you really have a problem believing that part in the film? because clearly you believe the rest about brainwashed kids, heroic staff etc...

Asking just out of interest. I don't necessarily mean to say that documentaries are conspiracies or that I have access to more accurate info etc...

Is not a documentary it is a Film .If you watch the Film you may understand why I have said what I said
What would you suggest the attackers  were ???  after watching the FILM I believe the Staff were heroic  as
it was explained at the End who the Individuals were ,and that many were also happy to return to the Hotel when it was
rebuilt .
