bag for life sontaran im afraid if that length is correct

had a small part of my bowel removed - maybe 3-4 inches and had an ileostomy bag fitted back in nov 15 - got removed march 17 and my quality of life was sh1t thereafter cos when you gotta go you gotta go - long story short had me gallbladder removed a few mths later and big c had spread to my liver - had the op and new bag fitted and whilst its a pain in the arse at times you learn to live with it cos quality of life is much better wiv the bag than wivout it PlainPlainPlain

Some intestinal facts from the bowels of the internet.

After the King of Constipatino Elvis died (on his throne, straining) ... his doctor said:
--
"Nichopoulos, who acted as Elvis’s personal physician for the last 12 years of his life, claims chronic constipation killed Elvis in his bookThe King and Dr. Nick.

In a 2010 Fox News interview, he stated, “We didn’t realize until the autopsy that his constipation was as bad-we knew it was because it was hard for us to treat, but we didn’t realize what it had done.”

According his autopsy, the diameter of Elvis’s colon was 5 to 6 inches, which is about double the size of the typical person’s, and instead of being 4 to 5 feet long, his colon was 8 to 9 feet in length.

“We found stool in his colon which had been there for four or five months because of the poor motility of the bowel.”"

4 or 5 MONTHS!!!! You'll be pleased to know my mobility is fine, if sweetcorn is any sort of measureDevil

Miss light hearted humour like that like The IT Crowd also written by Graham Linehan.

Black books was also light hearted (ExcitedWink) and very good, great and very memorable characters, it should have had more episodes.

I keep saying it (moi? Repeat myself!) but comedy has taken a serious wrong turn in the UK the last few years. Panel or "comedy chat" shows and The likes of The Pish Kumar report. Awful.

Graham Norton is obviously still around, and not doing riverdance in a tiny caravan on a cloud in heaven.

I'm having a colonoscopy on Monday at King's College Hospital in Camberwell on Monday afternoon, I'm going to be sedated and need a chaperone to take me home. I'm not exactly looking forward to it to say the least but hopefully I will be OK.Plain
