People sentenced to more than four years in prison currently have to disclose their conviction to employers for the rest of their working life.

Gaps in employment is the biggest killer in getting a job

Esp once you get past 30, if you've had lots of little jobs with gaps between them they tend to think/know you've either got an attitude problem or you're just totally untrustworthy
