I like to put a stamp on Christmas cards when I send them .but I can't afford too
I bet those who get them delivered think I'm a cheap skate when there's no stamp on the envelope |

My grandchildren won't suck the chocolate father Christmas that I put on the Xmas tree
They just eat them. I've told them straight if they don't suck them and make them last longer and appreciate them more .I'm not going to buy anymore |

I'm on sky broadband now and to stop the worry of changing my e mail addresses to all my debters I need to pay the 7-50 to keep my b t e mail address
By:
from my experience when I first left they asked for something like £15 or so for a year or a one off, I cannot remember. I did not pay it but kept my email address. I am back with them and have used the original email address they gave me.
Don't pay and see what happens. You may not be able to use the bt.com site but I think you will be able to access btinernet.com email from a yahoo.com site |
By:
That is robbery DWD , what fooking difference does it make if you use it or not , how can they charge a person for using an email address ?
By:
I don't have fairy chocolate as I'm a homeafobic .and I don't want them growing up like Elton John.
That doesn't mean to say I wouldn't love them as much if they were .but I'm not encouraging with fairy chocolate |
By:
I don't won't to go on the b t site .I go on email and I'm sure if any one sends me a email .with a bt email address it would not come if I didn't pay the 7-50 or if someone asks me for my e mail and I tell them it's dowahdiddyat btemail.com
I'm sure it won't be delivered |
By:
It used to be 5-00 per month but theve raised it recently to 7-50 a month

I had the same thing from Virgin, but instead of telling me I had to pay they just disconnected my email address. It caused a lot of hassle for me. I then looked up everything about emails and it just made sense to have Google as your email as they don't charge for it and also it is more convenient to have google email, google drive cloud, chrome browser etc etc all working together.

Google? That new fangled "hotmail" is the address you want
.The amusing thing here is of course AFAIK unless they changed it BT outsourced their email to Yahoo and Yahoo were about as secure as a wet tissue. Everyone I know I think who has used Yahoo (including myself) has been hacked and the one person I know with a BT internet address was hacked as well. |
By:
In all the time I have been using google email I haven't seen one spam email.
By:
Or been hacked.
By:
Of course another benefit of using google email is that because google owns android, responsible for most of mobile phones systems, it plays nicely with it. I don't say it would be the same with other emails but it makes sense to keep in the google family. But I am not a geek so don't take my word for it. But I haven't had any trouble doing it that way.

Well spam to your google address is a factor how many people have that address and how good their spam filter is. I'd check your junk folder certainly as I know non spam goes into my google email's junk folder. Maybe as they've been hacked so much yahoo's spam filter seems even more .. false positive loving!
