I had to go to Manchester today on my way home .I went to the tram station in Manchester Piccadilly I was exhausted .I saw my tram was going to be late on the message board so I got on the tram to media city and thought I can have a sit down on this tram and sit on the platform at media city untill My tram comes. I entered the tram and sat in front of a young woman who was on the phone she spoke very elequently and when asked about a certain topic she said you know I'm not allowed to comment on that .even the person persevered trying to get information out of her ,she said you know I'm not allowed to discuss it On leaving the tram I stopped the young lady and said excuse me did you have private education (which is what I thought she must have done to speak that articulate and polite) she smiled and said yes .I then said well it was money well worth spent as you talk like a lady she smiled and said thank you and we parted
Then I thought I would walk the rest of the way home as it's only 2stops but I was still exhausted and saw my tram in the distant.i waited untill it arrived it was empty and it was full. There was no where to sit even the disabled and elderly seats were all took up by fit young people .I was only going 2 stops and if any one would have offered me their seat I would have declined
They didn't know I was only going 2 stops and not a single one offered me theirs .
Just before I got off I pretended I was on a phone which was my hand up to my ear .I shouted on the pretend phone so all the tram could hear .I shouted is that you miss Roberts my art teacher from years ago .Do you remember when you used to drum your saying into me MANNERS MAKETH THE MAN .I then shouted well you want to come on the tram and knock it into them.aI then hung up my pretend phone .

I do not think the young respect the old any more in our society. As far as they are concerned they think the old should just hurry up

Yes that body is just round the corner from me .i was in that park the day before looking in the undergrowth to see if there was any pools of water near the undergrowth that was railed off.
I've not been on that park since I was a child and I noticed what great rides were on the playground there was lots of of one's I've never even seen .there was also keep fit apparatus if you wanted to look like Pluto Popeye the sailor maan's friend

Kenny man this last few months I've really found it hard to walk anywhere a few yards and I'm exhausted .i walk like I'm drunk and can't keep in a straight line and my legs won't go where my fuzzy brain tells them to go .

Recently I had to take my car in for some recall work, I was offered a hire car with no charge. The hire company met me at the dealership and wanted card details in case I had an accident or got a chipped windscreen. The cost to me would be £125 if it got a stone chip in it. Upon checking the windscreen it already had about 6-8 chips in it, I asked them how they would know if the chip was whilst I had it. I ended up telling them to f.o. and I caught the bus home, it was the first time I had been on a bus(in the UK) for about 20 years.
I had to catch another 2 days later to pick my car up, I was astonished by the number of women/girls with prams and 3 -5 sprogs in tow. There was only room for 2 or 3 of these prams and the amount of women with prams that were not allowed on the bus was 15-20 on both journeys. Surely their Universal Credit would stretch to a 7 seater SUV.
This country is going down the pan.

Yes I'm not down .I've always wanted to get my pretend phone out and phone Polly to put the kettle on but never had the conference .but I got it out today
Ive got a real mobile phone but I never take it out incase some one calls me and mither's me

I wanted to do the Polly put the kettle on .when a group of Irish ladies came on the tram for a hen party but chickened out.
Uble yes I only wanted the phone so I can ring people if I need them .but it's that dear it's 35p a min and i rarely use it .I'll have to get a cheap deal there's loads about but keep putting it off
