i love Herzog films but this fell short for me. Mind you; i am besotted with the original (and best) version with the lead role played by the immense Max Schreck. Max would have made a fine Adolf (albeit he was about a foot taller
if he had stayed alive a few more years. Walken reprised his name in a Batman film mamy years later |

Not the same but related, I loved the NZ vampire comedy "What we do in the Shadows" and liked the new series tucked away late at night.
Highly recommend the film if you like strange comedy. |

Nosferatu is a great name for a kid. I'd imagine it used to be really popular but like that damned Adolf, a bad bit of PR spoiled it for everyone.
"Nosferatu Bucket". It's very posh sounding . |

I think Herzog's Aguirre : Wrath Of God is his masterpiece, highly unsettling with a wonderful score by Popol Vuh. Quite simply the finest movie ever made, in my opinion, and one which changes your life. Well, it did mine, at any rate.

I prefer Fitzcarraldo .....mainly for the crazy part pulling the steamboat over the hill to get to other river.

hard to pick just one of Herzogs; so i will put up two
"Stroszek" - little seen, but quite brilliant "The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser" - Herzog at his very best & this film changed my views on lots of things regarding life in general. Utterly mesmeric |
