Yeah, I just finished it yesterday. Plot got a bit complicated in places! Loved it nevertheless.

me question is re gennaro, why towards the end does he take a step back from developing new airport ? he doesn't go to presentation in second last episode with all civic dignitaries, it's as though he realises his future lies in reverting back to being crime boss in naples ( or that him being linked to airport is always going to cause uneasiness in business community ) .

he was always in the background re the airport.wanted no one to know he was involved
aha, makes sense. so he was only prominent in the planning etc but when finally went public he took back seat.

sorry cutting and pasting link not working, we might have to wait until the end of next year when they may show the ciro movie then series 5.

still believed ciro wasnt dead at end of series 3.
the article i cant post says there was a trailer for the film at the end of series four in italy. from it ....
Interestingly, the trailer for L'Immortale opens with the scene that followed Ciro Di Marzio's shooting. He is shown slowly sinking in the waters of the Gulf of Naples but his voiceover suggests he wishes he was elsewhere. Ciro admits that he has always dreamt about having the city of Naples all to himself because he felt that he was stronger than anyone. Interestingly, he even mentions his wife Debora who once warned him to stop pursuing his ambitions but he simply couldn't stop.
The trailer concludes with the words, "Immortal is dead" but that doesn't seem to be the case. Ciro's body appears to twitch at the last moment, possibly confirming that he survived the gunshot and could be returning in Gomorrah Season 5. However, fans may need to wait two more years before finding out if Ciro has once again proven that he is immortal.
