An uninsured Lamborghini has been seized by police after the owner used it to pick up his other car - also confiscated for not being insured.
Greater Manchester Traffic Police tweeted ... if you turn up to reclaim your car check "that the car you turn up in is covered on your policy first". Sounds like a more expensive version of the idiots who drive to court to get banned from driving, then get nicked driving home again while banned. Anyone with £600,000 in cars should pay an assistant to sort out the insurance imo, and probably tie his shoelaces for him as well. |

Surely after paying fines and correcting the paperwork he'll get them back, it would be an outrageous lottery of "justice" if the arbitrary fine of "the value of your car" was the cost of the offence. A banger with failed brakes worth £20 might be of more danger to other road users. Having said that the owner is probably an irresponsbile arrogant person full of entitlement. A car driving version of Emily Maitlis and her Whippet.
