As far as these paedo allegations go, it rather depends if they are true or false. That is the problem I have? The guilty should not go unpunished but neither should the innocent be convicted wrongly! |

I think Cliff, Gambo etc are only asking for anonymity until charged, so there'd still be plenty of time for other victims to come forward after charging.
It is a difficult balancing act and I'm not sure we've got it right. Look at the lives destroyed by "Nick". |

The "Kitty" was on the "guest list" of an infamous gay knocking shop somewhere in London,and written in brackets was "pop star cliff", could mean something or could mean nothing of far as Richard is concerned.
The chances of justice being done if the Judges are all bagged up the same hearing these cases is nil,so poor "nick" wouldn't stood a chance. |

Before the Jimmy Saville revelations...the police did not take sexual allegations seriously enough
Since then they have taken all sexual allegations seriously, perhaps too seriously. Because it is often one person's word against another it is very difficult to know the truth. I think they should use Lie Detectors to at least indicate if they are on the right track Tough they cannot yet be used as evidence in court, not 100% reliable, but good indicator |

You have to have sympathy for the police,they get stamped on by the media if they proceed or stand back but the hysterical lynch mob mentality on such accusations has to stop. We expect the police to make a thorough investigation of facts,not innuendo,before proceeding.

yes another problem denzil, people will lie for money The best thing is for any women or child who feels they have been sexually assaulted to be able to report this to the police immediately after it has happened, even though some find it difficult. If they are able to do this forensics can be used which do not lie We still have the problem whether a women said yes or not. I don't think alcohol indicates rape either, although some women claim this |
